time for a name change

Despite Wendy Davis' heroic, hard-fought (and apparently unavailing) victory, the Governor of Texas has called for a 2nd "special legislative session," to finalize the vicious oppression of the women of Texas. (You know, it might be a really good idea if every woman who possibly could, simply left the State. The Lysistrata approach might be the only viable one left.) But anyway, as a lexicographically-invested person very much intent on the preservation of semantic accuracy, I think it's important that we instutute a petition to change the name of the "State of Texas" (per "The Handmaid's Tale") to the inarguably more accurate (and shorter) replacement: "Gilead."
