Well, to be clear, I have the paperback, and it's the first cover design, so it's this version if that changes anyone's mind. It's a great book.

oh yeah that is weird. The original hardback had the gorgeous blueprint of the spaceship on the inside of the cover. The cover of the last book and the eventual redesign is just ick worthy. hmmph.
