What are you up to at the moment?

Good times. I thought we went to see House 2 that day. Both of them sucked.

I remembered The Lost Boys being a pretty good movie, but Emily watched it with Aunt Sarah and she totally panned it.
I might have to check it out again sometime.

I have occasional bouts of nostalgic movie binging. I almost always regret them, but I don't think I will ever learn.
Spending some time reading and doing some housework. I must be ADHD or something because I absolutely cannot stay focused over about 30-40 pages without taking a break from reading. Think I have found my niche now. I just read until I can't focus and then do a little housework. It worked really well for me yesterday. I managed to read almost 200 pages. I was trying to force myself to stay with it and that didn't work very well. I would forget important parts and take an hour to read 20 pages. This seems to work a little better. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. It's supposed to get really cold here starting Tuesday.

I can see why you couldn't leave without that, Evans. Very nice.

Where did u get them? I would love to have some. Growing up that was my fav movies series. I started watching them when I was 8. Even got my aunt to take me to the theater for one.
I'm reading Opal. A friend sent me the Lux series friday night and I'm on the forth one now. I can't believe how into these ya books I get lol. Must be my inner teenage outcast.

I thought Hellraiser was pretty much done after the second one, there might have been one other that I thought was kind of okay.
Love Freddy movies, though I haven't watched any for awhile. I thought part two got better in comparison to parts five and six. The new nightmare was excellent when it came out, but hasn't aged well. I enjoyed Freddy vs Jason when it was released, but haven't seen it since. Wonder how time has treated it?

And the Freddy films, they are the best of them all, I've got them on DVD, and the 1st has commentaries with Wes craven and some of the girls. It was good listening to that, apparently Wes Craven has got the scariest garage anywhere filled with lots of stuff from the film's including Freddy' s glove! I even still liked the Freddy v Jason film for it amusement factor.
I also watched the puppet masters but they were just daft. I got the idea to rewatch all these films of someone who said they do this through October to celebrate Halloween, it sounded like a good idea, and I've enjoyed doing it the only ones I've missed have been the Friday the 13th films as I ran out of time!

Never watched a Puppet Masters film. Thanks for the insight on the others.

The Mole People figure is awesome! I have a small collection of Universal horror movie figures as those are some of my favorite movies, and I have one of the Mole people figures, but it's pretty much gray and dark gray!

If I had all the Universal Monster figures I'd play Monster Squad...all...day.

I refused to have any dolls when I was small, because mine would be able to hide under the bed and get me! Or in the wardrobe, in the corners ...

Misty, thank you for the link, I'm going to have to get the Frankenstein and Dracula bookends. They are incredible!!

Anyway, at work now, but I keep thinking back to last evening, visiting her at the home, and I figured I'd share!

I might have to get the Ghostbusters ones for myself. They are so cool!
I'm thinking about the Mickey Mouse ones for my son too as he would love those.
What a great find!

Yeah, none of it's true. But she sure believes it all.

Haha, this guy is going to wonder why his sales have suddenly gone through the roof :-)

Phobias: Stories of Your Deepest Fears

Shock Rock, Volume I

The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror 20

Stranger: Dark Tales of Eerie Encounters
and

The Dark: New Ghost Stories
Not bad for an average couple bucks each! Best New Horror books typically run $6 or more each whenever I see them, which isn't ofter, so this is the first I've added to my collection.
The first two look like a lot of campy 80's fun as well.

Glory Bus
The Cellar, Beast house and Midnight tour
Body rides
All for £6,00
And I've just finished carrion comfort, and I got that as an e-book for 59 pence. What a crazy book that turned out to be.

I get my nexus 7 tomorrow, it's in a sale for £130, which is £50 knocked of the price:-). I can't use it till Christmas though.

Thank you! Wish we didn't have to wait until April for decisions!

Cool. I'll have to check Thor 2 out. The first one was pretty good. Eyes too scratchy to read or write, so we're settled in with THE LOST BOYS tonight. Haven't seen it in ages. Good old cheesy fun. I remember trying to sneak into the theater to see this with Adam when it first hit theaters. I think I was 15 and he was 12. We got kicked out and had to settle for THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS.
