Not big on sci-fi AT ALL, but decided to read this and it's been a lot of fun so far:

Just went to the library got a stash, not sure where to start!
I Am Legend
The DemonologistHorns
The Snowman
Kill Alex Cross
I'm finishing The Wasp factory and The High Lord by Trudi Canavan, plus a couple of other things. I'm trying to get them finished so I can add some February group reads.
I'm just about ready to start Drood our February read. And I'm starting Dracula prince of many faces his life and his times as part of another group read.
I am playing catch-up at this point. Really want to finish
. Also, saw a book at the library I couldn't resist. I love books set in the 60's and 70's. Started
today. It should be a quick read. Would definitely like to read at least one of the group reads for the month, but need to get a job also. We'll see how the "pain management", job search, and reading can intermingle this month. Not gonna stress over it. Have enough stress right now.

I look forward to reading ALL of Joe Hill's books before I die. Love his style.
I'm currently reading Winnetou by Karl May. My mom bought this 4 or 5 years ago and I read few chapters then many things happened and I didn't continue reading. Now I read from the start again and it's good.
Have finished Insurgent today. I will post a review tomorrow too tired today. Have started reading Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness which is the second in the Chaos Walking trilogy. Has picked up right where the last one left off and so far I am enjoying it greatly.
I loved insurgent! I'm almost finished with allegiant. I liked the knife of never letting go but not enough to continue with the ask and answer.
I've not even got Allegiant yet! I saw them in the book shop last week but ended up buying Marina and fear and loathing in las Vegas instead. I'll get round to them at some point.
Nearly finished with the excellent Tim Curran book Skin Medicine, and taking little bites of Joe R Lansdale's short story collection, High Cotton.

I've only read Dead Sea but I've got Hive as an eBook. I'd like to read more so which would you recommend I go with?

, very excited!"Loved the book! But Heart-Shaped Box andNOS4A2 were his best. In my opinion.
I loved Heart shaped box and NOS4A2 the most as well. When I first bought it I didn't know if it would be good, and I have read it about 5 times now! His Locke and key graphic novels are awesome.
I liked NOS4a2 the best, but I also enjoyed Horns, maybe more than Heart Shaped BoxI'm currently reading The Demonologist,
so far it has a Dan Brown feeling about it...
Have just started reading The Thorough Check It has one of those really amazing covers that you can't help but pick it up
Angie, I have read Dead Sea, Skin Medicine and Headhunter so far. All 5 star reads, in my opinion. Headhunter is a novella, so it was real quick, and Skin Medicine was 276 pages. Either one is worth your time, or both! I believe they are both lendable, so if you want to borrow, let me know.
Currently reading Where Darkness Dwells - Glenn Krisch, and Jos Lansdale's High Cotton. Having to ease up on reading and writing today as both my vehicles decided to break down at the same time. Lots of fun!
I'm trying to get some more of Drood read. My son is in the middle of moving back in with me. He's just out of work and is finding it hard to find a new job. He is going to do his heavy goods vehicle licence as this will let him apply for driving jobs.
I have Drood and love Simmons, but that book is not one I wish to tackle right now. I am really dnjoying the short stories of Lansdale in High Cotton... he is a funny and brutal dude.
Stood is such a long book and I'll probably take a couple of weeks to finish. I'm reading Blood Meridian on the never ending buddy read as well. I got Hyperion yesterday, have you read Simmons SciFi? I haven't and I'm wondering if its as good as his horror. It was in a 3 books for £5 deal so that's why I've got it.I love short stories but I feel that I've not read any for ages.
I haven't read any Simmons Sci Fi, but the fans love it, and I cut my teeth on allthings horror and science fiction so I will undoubtedly give it a go sooner or later. Thinking os reading The Twelve for my next hefty tome.
Adam The Twelve is so good, its on my favourite books list. I'd read it again if anyone wants to do a buddy read of it. It seems that since reading Carrion Comfort if always had a Simmons book on the go. I've got Song of Kali and Black Hills waiting tbr. They only cost £1.50 each so bargain!!
I got Song Of Kali and A Winter's Haunting the other day, alomg with The Ignored by Bentley Little and The Toynbee Convector by Ray Bradbury. I have The Terror in my Simmons Stack, too.
I am currently reading
did not realise it was about Zombies when I started it, (not encountered any yet thankfully) but it's really good so far :)
I love zombies Emma and a couple of months now on Facebook there was an event were lots of authors put their books up at reduced prices. I got 15 books for £10 . Some of them are really good as well. Do you not like zombie books?
No Angie not really. This book might change my mind you never know. I set up a Zombie discussion page yesterday, on All About Fantasy, if you want to want to discuss zombie books with other people who read them :)
Currently reading Hope for the Wicked. I'll just say dude's got some balls, but not for the reasons you might expect.
Emma wrote: "@Gregor, that's looks quite good. Hope you enjoy it."Oh, I am. I'll likely finish it tonight. I'm a bit past the 80% mark.
I'm really down on zombie books these days. I'm convinced they've ran the horror genre into the ground.
Saying that I am currently reading a zombie book, (didn't know when I started it) I havent met any yet though and I am loving it, might change when the zombies appear though.
I like everything lol. Nick my son says it makes me very easy to buy for. About the only thing I'm not to keen on is crime and I've never read a mills and boon!! But fantasy and horror with SciFi are my favourites.I like werewolves over zombies, and vampires like Anne Rice vamps not the sparkling types, which are just ridiculous. But I'll even read crime if it sounds like a good story.
I've just added the way of kings to my currently reading list as part of a buddy read with a couple of friends. Its ready for when b.2 turns up! Only 4 weeks to go. I can't wait to read more about Kaladin and Syl:-)

I am currently reading Stormbreaker, Carrion Comfort, and our own Adam Light's Serving Spirits. Have gotten a little behind again the last couple of days because of the job applications, trying to sell anything we have of value to get money, and my interview today (which was promising).
Carrion Comfort was my first ever Simmons book, even though I had a paper copy of The Terror that my son had got my as a Christmas present. I've since read quite a lot I love the way he built up the story. I'm enjoyingDrood by the same author and I'm reading Blood Meridian on the never ending buddy read mainly with Chuck and Sean. They both seem to come up with a pretty good selection of books.
