Grey Wolf | 49 comments I think this was a series of 3 books I read when I was 10/11, but as I was reading Ian Fleming at the same age I would probably say this was YA fiction, not childrens. It was set in the UK, some sort of fascists have taken over, there is a sort of resistance in the hills led by a guy called Wolf but he gets killed and his ghost/spirit works with the main character (teen lad?) to fight against the system. Scenes include a helicopter piloted I think by a guy called Hans, a castle in Germany, an ambush on a convoy of government supply vehicles in the hills, and flashbacks to the day when the fascists did a night raid and seized his family, sister etc. Think a character called Fox came to lead the resistance?

Pretty sure it was a female author, Mary or Margaret maybe

Grey Wolf | 49 comments Does 'A Quest for Orion" by Rosemary Harris match by synopsis?

I found it mentioned as a possible answer to another unsolved and the description sounded like it would match...?

Let us know if that's it or not. Also, if it's NOT the correct book, let us know how they differ, if you can figure it out.

Grey Wolf | 49 comments Thanks, Amazon has confirmed sending by email so should be here by Tuesday for me to take a look
