First it said the Retribution of Mara Dyer comes out on October 22nd 2013. Now it is saying it doesn't come out until June 4th 2014 is this true? If it is... i have to wait another year :'(

I am confused about the release date also. Did you see this date on the author's website?
Yeah that is true, the longer you wait, the more you forget the story and the book wont be as good, but maybe i'll read it again before it comes out.. No i didn't see this on the author's website but it is saying June 4th 2014 on good reads, amazon, and book depository..
goodreads says October 2013 currently so I think it is still being released October 22nd. I'll probably read the first two again to refresh my memory before I read it :)

The Boooks are Amazing, so i wouldnt care which date it comes out. As long as it comes out, it worth the waitt!!<3
I asked a Simon and Schuster editor a couple months ago at a convention if there were any arcs available for Retribution, and he told me it wasn't even finished yet.I have a feeling the writing has been difficult, and 2014 is the correct date. :(
If I remember correctly, from Michelle Hodkin's blog, the release date is 22nd October, and right now it's being edited. There won't be any ARCs so no one can give out any ending spoilers.

I honestly get that the author wants to perfect the story but she wrote on her tumblr account 5 months ago that she was finished with the book and just editing. I find that when I wait to long for a book i don't like it as much. How long has it been since the evolution came out? almost 2 years :'(

I definitely need this book! But I wish I knew why it was taking so long to come out. Like Bianca said, she's told fans that she's editing it, and that was in 2013. I just hope the book is amazing with this wait.

I am most definitely going to read it when it comes out. But seriously,why the long wait? I just hope the work pays off and the book turns out to be really awesome.
NOVEMBER 4??? Well, at least we know the story will be awesome. I just finished The Evolution again (10nth time, maybe?) and I just feel it'll be awesome.
It feels like we've been waiting forever ): On the upside, I know it will be amazing and worth the wait in the end!
i keep telling myself the book will be awesome.that is how i am managing.
That's the only thing getting me through the wait, knowing that it's going to be amazing!

November is so far. i am also worried that she might postpone it further!!! i just found out my fav author libba bray postponed release of diviners 2 to 2015. i cant stand another betrayal from Hodkin as well!!!!

i have been waiting for this book for a year, i deserve to read it. what could the author possibly need more time for? she had enough time for finishing.

Yeah. I don't mean the same ending necessarily, but I feel like the book might be completely terrible :(
actually even if you take a long time, it is all about execution and planning. so Hodkin should tie all loose ends. sometimes i think the first two books lacked in a plot and book 3 is duty bound to have one and end well.
