Jenger (jengerj) | 110 comments I have a question about task 15.2. I think I misunderstood so if you could provide clarification I'd appreciate it. Does it mean to read 2 books both written from 2 different characters' perspective such as each book being narrated by 2 characters

OR

1 book from 1 perspective and a 2nd book from an opposite perspective rather than having the 2 competing perspectives contained in each single book?

I hope this makes sense. Thanks for the assistance!

Bianca (bbollinger) | 761 comments Wow I need to hurry up and finish these books! I just started watching Lost for the first time and I'm ADDICTED. Seriously all I do with my free time. Haha! Anyone like that show? I don't know what I was doing with my life when it came out because I should have been watching it. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE it. So yeah...definitely keeping me from reading and, well, doing just about everything else.

It's more like your second thought - two books, each from a different perspective. Like one book from a woman's perspective and one book from a man's perspective. Or from one perspective and multiple perspectives (like when the author writes the chapters from different characters' voices).

Hope that helps!

I think I might've watched one or two episodes of it. I've been kind of in a reading funk lately. All I've been doing in my spare time is playing games or surfing the net on my ipad, knitting, or just getting out of the house. I haven't even been working on my house like I should be. LOL, I started painting my kitchen sometime around early June and I'm still not done. :)

Beth, that's what I've heard from so many people!!! Unfortunately, the movie This is Forty tells you what happens in the end of Lost and I was SO MAD. Seriously cannot believe I wasted my time on such a bad movie just to have them ruin the end of Lost for me. BUT I've heard there's more to it than that, so here's to hoping I cry my eyes out in the end, too! Haha.

Stacy...totally know how you feel. I'm in SUCH a reading funk. I just started Finding Colin Firth, which is due to the library soon, and even though it's good so far I just can't tear my eyes away from Lost in my free time. Haha! Reading funks always annoy me.

I didn't see that movie so I don't know quite how much they gave away, but I think it won't matter. If you watch the entire series by the time you get to the end you will be so attached to the characters that it will be an emotional experience saying goodbye to them. At least it was for me.

That's good to know! Ahhh I am SO obsessed with the characters. I'm on season 3 right now and when my boyfriend asks who my favorite character is I go, "Jack. No, John. Sawyer. No wait it's Claire. Wait it's Charlie. Oh it's Kate. No, Hurley." hahahaha. I can't pick just one! I love all of them!!!!

LOL, that's what I did on the last episode of Sex in the City. I didn't watch it while it was on HBO - got it from Netflix about a year or so after it ended. But I was still sad to see it end. That is my all-time, favorite show. :)

Yes! I LOOOOOVE Sex and the City! My all-time favorite show is Friends, and seriously there is never a point in time when I'm not watching the series all the way through from the beginning. I finish, watch it again. Finish, watch it again. And I ALWAYS cry at the finale even though I've seen it hundreds of times. Haha. Sex and the City is probably my second favorite! I like watching them all the way through and then finishing them off with the movies :)

I really liked the finale of "Sex in the City" also. And the first movie. The second movie not so much. Are any of you watching the show "Girls"? I watched the first season and liked it but I almost didn't make it through the 2nd season -- and it's only 10 half hour episodes! I'm at the point where I really can't stand the main character, Hannah. She is sooooo self-absorbed. And I'm really tired of looking at her naked body. I get the whole it's good to see a naked woman who's not a size 2, but enough already! Even my husband, who is usually very pro-nudity, is sick of looking at her. OK, rant over. I guess I just needed to get that out of my system :)

Yes, it definitely helps! Would a serious thriller murder mystery vs a light cozy murder mystery count? Just want to make sure I'm not stretching the boundaries.

Thank you for your help!

Beth - yes! I remember a while ago I started watching the first episode of Girls and turned it off right away thinking it was really weird not my type of show. Then earlier this year I was like well...why not? Everyone is talking about how good it is. So I gave it another shot and ended up watching the whole first season in a few days and really liked it. And I completely agree with you about the second season - it's so weird!! I did end up watching all of it but only because I kept hoping it would get better. And it didn't. Also...I absolutely adore Emily Giffin and all her books, but the other day (I THINK it was her so don't take my word for it) posted on Facebook asking who people like better...Big or Adam (from girls). Ummm BIG!! Every girl who commented wrote that haha. There is no comparison!!!
