I haven't read it yet Michael. Do you think I should wait until after Scarlet? I thought someone mentioned that it referenced The Queen's Army so that's why I thought I would read it before. Did it give away a big plot line in Scarlet?

I don't know if it will give away a plot line, but you know who two of the characters in Scarlet are. So, you may judge their character and therefor your expectations based on that. So for some parts where you may not know whether one if the characters is being helpful or deceitful, you'll have a better idea. Hope that makes sense! I don't want to give anything away!

I think, if I had the choice I'd read it after Scarlet. That way it won't give anything away and you'll still have that short story to give you back ground into a character you already know.

Yes, that, and one other spoiler I wish I hadn't known. (Aren't we being cryptic!) So the choice is based on whether you like suspense or not. If you do, I would wait.

Did anyone read The Queen's Army after Scarlet? I'm just trying to picture what that would be like. Maybe more disturbing?

I read Scarlet two months ago, and I was waiting to read The Queen's Army to prolong the pleasure and read it closer to Cress's release, but reading your discussion I may read it a little earlier :)

August 1 is when the cover art for Cress comes out. I haven't read the Queen's Army yet, I should probably do that.

The Excerpt here is different from Chapter one so make sure you read that if you want. Cress is too cute in it.

I'm not sure I want to read the excerpt. I don't want to be waiting for the book to continue that part of the story.
