I "host" a mother/daughter book group (the girls are entering 8th grade (U.S.)...and we have been gathering since the end of 4th. I love what you all offer here!

We do have a welcome folder. You can just start a new thread in the Introductions folder.

I agree, I'm one of those die-hard fantasy/sci fi fans but never been interested in paranormal activity.

Is this the folder you meant?

It’s good to hear your group enjoyed Poison Study – I’d be happy to do a Q&A with them. Just send me the questions and a tentative deadline. Do you want to do a giveaway as well? Maybe a copy of Inside Out?? Let me know.

Thats what she said. So do you want to open a thread for questions and I'll collect them after a time and send the mto her?

I'm excited to talk about the series though!

Just make sure to mark spoilers in the thread and not post to your feed... (I'm avoiding my update feed and Twitter completely so that I avoid spoilers on MJ! LOL)
Edit: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/3... I went ahead and created it... LOL

I am not sure if this is where to post this info--but the name of my book club is Adults that can't hide their inner teen diva anymore--- so come and check it out!

Anyway, I'm John. If you have a moment, please check out my book, Bloodwood, in which best friends Max and Lydia travel to the cold, dark north in search of a missing girl and hidden vampire town. It's a fast, light-hearted adventure that packs an emotional punch.

I like your Oscar the Grouch icon :-) Come to think of it, I really like the name, Fiona, too. Makes me think of a freckly, dark-haired Irish woman with green eyes, sitting near a cold stream in a field on a sunny day.

Just goes to show that being a YA reader does not automatically mean that one has poor taste in reading material. We can read, appreciate, and even love a wide range of books not written by Dr. Seuss, haha! ;)
