Thanks - I love this method of judging people - ha!

Hope you're enjoying this one. I love John Boyne 's writing style and his books are always on my to read list."
I just completed it and it was so touching and amazing and I loved how in the midst of serious stuff he gave a quirky sense of humor to the characters too.

An American Marriage by Tayari Jones,
You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero,
So You Want to Talk About Raceby Ijeoma Olua
and What I Know For Sure by Oprah Winfrey

Hope it gets better for you! I have started Gilded Cage by Vic James--a fantasy set in modern-day England.

I just finished that book - loved it!!

Have you read Princess trilogy By Jean Sasson ? It's a wonderful book. I suggest you to read that. It's non fiction.

Edit: I mean, it wasn't that good, I ended up giving it 3 stars, but still an enjoyable read.

I've started a book club called "Damage" here on Goodreads. We're on our second book and cover all sorts of titles that are about physical, mental, emotional, or intellectual differences! If you're looking for some new reads, please join us and check out this month's selection. :)

Sounds a bit overwhelming!

I suppose it depends on what you are looking for, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming! The first book we read was a middle grade novel about a girl with dyslexia. This was still peppered with humor and great characters. The book we are reading now is a nonfiction book about the author's journey with bipolar disorder and her use of lithium (still peppered with humor) plus these are all informative insights into how people live, cope, and succeed in life with their own abilities and differences!
