Hi group,I just released a gritty western in the vein of Blood Meridian. Anyone interesting in reading a thriller with heart that's based on real life gunslinger Angel Jimenez, take a look at Soldadera: An Angel Jimenez Tale.

Hi my name is Maja. A few days ago I read probably the best short story I've ever read. It's called "The 8:50" by Ashley Earls Davis. I really recommend it.

Hi, I'm Amos, Angela I would recommend this wonderful book based on true story for you. But, Whose Fault? The AK47 Found
Hi! My name is Ema. I just joined Good Reads this week and finished Verity and reviewed it. I like most genres but I especially like Mysteries, Thrillers and some non-fiction.
I’m currently reading in the Heart of the Sea.
The Book Challenge looks fun! Hopefully, I can stay on track.
I’m also looking for recommendations.
I recently published The Third Goal: Bringing It All Back Home, an account of getting drafted in the 1960s. It's free at https://peacecorpsworldwide.org/the-t...
“The Third Goal is more than just a travelogue or a memoir. It is also a reflection on the meaning of service, patriotism, freedom, and peace. Drobnic shows how his experience as a Peace Corps volunteer shaped his worldview and influenced his decisions. He also explores the parallels and contrasts between his generation and the current one, especially in terms of political and social issues. He offers his perspective on the role of the Peace Corps in promoting cross-cultural understanding and cooperation.” [Goodreads user review] https://peacecorpsworldwide.org/the-t...

I gave it 3 stars also and wrote: I enjoyed this story but didn't find the ending satisfying or conclusive. That brought it down from 4 to 3 stars for me. I did enjoy reading about the frustrations and complications of the process of an author publishing a book.
