I finished that recently. I loved the book and I love the selection of stories he decided to share. An incredibly good observer with a good memory that makes quite a storyteller :)

Larisa (Grantica_bere) Just about to finish: Anxious People.

Great mirror of the modern society, story of forgivness, understanding, listening, coming together. So far, so good.

The author would make a good person to talk to for Oprah. :)

Just finished reading 'The Girl with the Louding Voice'. Hm!

Now reading a non-fiction book by John Preston. It's very well written with lots of insider info and conflict to intrigue you. It's called:

'Fall: The Mysterious Life and Death of Robert Maxwell, Britain's Most Notorious Media Baron'.

message 6449: by Jitka (new)

Jitka Moody | 2 comments Hi guys, I'm a book lover and while I totally enjoy reading them, I love writing them too. English isn't my first language which makes it difficult to write like a professional native speaker. My dream came true when I've written my very first book in English, but I was struggling to find an agent. For this, I decided to self-publish it on Amazon, but I need to hire an editor in English to help me polish my style and help me with a grammar. I'm so close now, I only need to raise the money for that. Will you please help me out here? Thank you in advance!
