May wrote: "Britany, I just added your last 2 reads to my TR list. What did you think of them?"They were both great May. The Great Believers was a 5 star snot alarm book and In Five Years was the perfect palate cleanser to pick up after. Gave that one 4 stars. I'd recommend both. You can click on the link for my review if you're interested in reading more.

Hi everybody! This is my first comment on goodreads Oprah book club. My name is Terri. I was looking forward to reading The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead since it was an Oprah pick but it's getting started incredibly SLOW. Nothing to grab me and pull my attention so far. Just life and conversation- blah blah blah. Please tell me it gets better!
Hello,My name is Felipe and am currently reading, The Millionaire Realestate investor. I would say am the boring one from this group. I recommend this book for anyone interested in real-estate. I have been wanting to find a new fiction book to read, any suggestion?
I am reading lord of the rings (after finishing hobbit) and I am loving it. I never watched the movie because I wanted to read the book.
Just about finished with In This Land of Plenty by Mary Smathers and Modern Lovers by Emma Straub. I am also re-reading my first novel, Things Unsaid, as I polish my second novel which picks up five years after Things Unsaid ends. With a continuation of the multigenerational Whitman/Foster family saga, the drama has evolved into a murder mystery: What did actually happen to Professor Schlepp at the end of Jules Foster's career as a professor? Secrets, lies and karma still shadow the main characters as they try to go on with their lives -no matter how damaging that can be.
I’m Nath and I’m currently reading 1984 by George Orwell. Let me know some of your thoughts on the book. No spoilers please. Thanks and happy reading everyone!!
I am reading [i]"The Zahir[\i] by Paulo Coelho. It really helped me escape myself. A man is searching for his wife. The husband has no idea what happened to her. He could very well become accused of her death. The woman, Esther, I believe is looking for a more meaningful life. It is believed she is covering a war in Africa. Perhaps, the energy of love is prodding her onward. I am anxious to meet her.
The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration by Isabel Wilkerson The Crooked River by Preston & Child
Racism by University Press
I finished reading The Da Vinci Code last week. So now I've decided to pick another of Dan Brown's novels... I'm going to start Digital Fortress now.
