As my favorite book (A Tale of Two Cities)is a classic, and I believe all the classics are there for a reason, I would love to join and get some recommendations. I am a Texan, adore my chickens, and live under a rock with a huge library. Hello, I'm Mahala from Tennessee! I'm a graphic designer with a semester left in college and I am trying to get back into reading for pleasure before I come fully into the working world. I'm hoping to aquire a more 'adult' pallet for books, or atleast fill in any gaps in my cultural literacy.

I prefer any sort of fiction really, but if something is classified as straight mystery or horror I'll have to spoil it for myself so I won't panic while reading. Hope I can make some friends here.
