I agree with Shawn, Sam, that one was pretty good :-). (I whispersync'd it in December, a "late" classics group read for me. (Edit - the one I listened to was narrated by Michael Page, I think there are a few different narrated versions; edit again, there definitely are a few different narrators, these are the ones at Audible - http://www.audible.com/search/ref=a_h... )

Hello :) my name is Joann and I definitively want to catch up on classics! Guess that's why I joined this group! I'm 24 years old and I originally come from Luxemburg, but at the moment I'm studying in Bremen (Germany). I pass a lot of my free time reading, mostly crime, thriller and fantasy. By reading classics I try to get into new genres! :)
Hello everyone. My name is Elda and I live in Tirana, Albania. I'm 32 yrs old and love reading but lately have been reading only guilty pleasure books and wanted to get back to reading classics. As English is not my mother language, I'd love to catch up with american literature classics as I haven't read many of those. Well, that's all folks :))

Greetings!I'm Nathan from Utah, USA. I've been trying over the past few years to disversify my reading, rather than simply being absorbed in Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Taking a crack at Classics has been eye opening and enjoyable. I look forward to discovering more 'favorites'.

Hello, my name is Lacey & I collect books. I am a book blogger for paranormal/fantasy books. Hi I'm Margo. I'm currently a freshman in high school and I really want to start reading things that have deeper meanings. My favorite classic is always the last one I read (A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens).

Kristi, yes, such a fun surprise, being a 'featured group', wasn't it? We got so many new members, and I know you did too, over at Discovering Russian Literature, which seems to be a fabulous group! (So glad they featured it, so I could find out about it.).

Hi! I'm Robyn. I'm from California but I live in the UK (Oxfordshire). Love reading works across genres & time periods (I'm a historian by training but not profession, so I'm happy reading historical fiction and non-fiction). I've noticed recently that GR groups really help me structure my reading, and I'd like to take on more of the classics - and revisit those that I read in my youth far too quickly to actually take anything in! Looking forward to the group reads -- thanks for having me!
