Dungeon
It was a ruse. It had to be. Her legs gave out and she felt her wrists yank against the chains. Warm blood dribbled down her arms and pooled on the floor.
"Really? Maybe I will. Now, you saw what happened. How did Madelaine escape?" he asked, dead serious.
"Didn't I tell Sauron we needed new cages? I did. And they didn't notice you, who's in plain sight?"
"Interesting. And yet a bar is torn out of place, a prisoner is missing, and I have no illusion magic."
"You could be lying," she said. But why would he destroy his own cells? The illusion could have had Legolas find a key, rather than ripping up property.
"Except my loyalty," she pointed out. "You've been so intent on it, so why wouldn't you go to such measures?"
"True," she admitted, "but I could never attack them and bring them here, to go through what you've done to me."
"Then just kill them. They're just heroes da@mmit," he said, exasperated. He was getting tired of this.
"I can't!" she yelled. She remembered all the times she'd stood between her brother and knowledge. If he'd known, he would have lost all hope. It was the same now. She was doing what she'd always done. Protecting. Tears fell off her face. She might die doing it.
She collapsed to the floor, leaning against the wall. She slid down the wall and lay down. "Thank you."
"You're welcome," Drax said, turning back towards the stairs. "Don't ever say I never did anything nice for you," he muttered, sighing.
She wasn't able to move much, but things began to become clear. The Fellowship had abandoned her. She couldn't join Drax or do anything in this prison. She drew the silver knife and clutched it in her hand, holding it to her stomach.
"You know, joining me wouldn't be too bad. You didn't seem to be so against killing ME, before," he said, still in the room. "So why are you so against killing them?"
"They're good," she said, "They want to help this world, not own it." The blade clashed on the floor once and she tried to work up the courage to act.
She drove the knife into her body. The pain wasn't as bad as the lightning, but she couldn't help crying out.
Drax sighed. He had made her miss by directing it away from the organ with his wind. "That won't help."
"No. I'm not letting you die. Not when you have a purpose," Drax said, turning towards her. "Stupid girl. I still need you," he grumbled, scowling.
"I need you because you have a greatness that can't leave the world yet, Fiera. Why can't you see that I'm the only one who will appreciate your talents?" Drax asked, kneeling in front of her. He couldn't let her croak on him yet.
"I never... asked for any of this." she fell unconscious and her hand flew to the knife. She moaned.
Hex skipped into the dungeon with a smile on his face, he crept up behind Drax and said "Can I borrow Fierra for a bit?"

She was dreaming of her brother and the night her arm broke. She mumbled something and twisted, then cried out and her hands shot to the knife.

((Gtg, spending the night at the hospital with Mom and Grandpa))"
"II thought I told Lena NOT to let you see Madelaine. Legolas was here? Damn. I would've liked to kill him," Drax muttered, yawning.
