"A-are you sure? You all seemed to not miss me when she came..." Madelaine whispered softly, wishing to turn over so he could not see the tears forming in her eyes. "Especially not him."

"Madelaine I'll always miss you and I'll always try to find you and help you if I can unless I'm convinced otherwise or held back from trying to I would've been here sooner if I hadn't fallen in smeagol's cave." Woodsong said.

"I'm sorry Woodsong. I'm acting like a fool. Im a love struck coward of a fool. I new that it would never happen, but my heart just opened up to it, and then it was shattered into a million pieces.... I just need to give up on it because it will never work out." Madelaine said looking up at him.

"I've been in that postion to many times before." Woodsong said sadly and looked down at her. "It gets better though." He said quickly.

"It's never gotten better for me. Woodsong, trust me when I say this. I'll always be alone." Madelaine said as a few tears cans out if her eyes. "I let him go. I let him die."

message 707: by [deleted user] (new)

Woodsong wiped the tears away and looked down at her. "Don't say that you'll find someone and no you didn't let him die he let go." Woodsong said sighing. "If anything it's my fault." He muttered.

message 708: by [deleted user] (new)

"How is it your fault? He couldn't decide between me or Branwen so the only choice was death! I will forever be alone." Madelaine said truth in her voice.

"Madelaine, I'd prefer not to get into this subject I'm being held together by a thread and it's straining." Woodsong closing his eyes.

"A-Alright Woodsong. I'll shut up." Madelaine said. She slowly got out of his arms, and limped the rest of the way back to Rivendell. When the reached the Last Homely House, she collapsed.

Woodsong quietly walked in front of her the entire time not opening his eyes the rest of the way he sat down in a chair near the entrance of the last homely home and simply thought.
