What Are You Currently Reading? (doesn't have to be an Aussie book)

Started Family Album by Penelope Lively who wrote the iconic Moon Tiger. hmmm, cats seem to be a theme today!
B the BookAddict wrote: "Finished White Noise by Don DeLillo which I loved. Review to follow.
I have had White Noise on my shelf for ages waiting to be read:) I really enjoyed Cosmopolis the book and the movie.

Both the same book :/
Is there a thread where we can list books with more than one title?

I've put the label on the two with this new title/cover Jools. But if you go to the book page each time, it shows in the "OTHER EDITIONS" when there are books which are the same, but re-titled...

Yeah its just that when I listed it on my tbr there was only the one, and sometime since I must have thought he had a new one and just marked it to read. So I had it down twice lol.

:) The page you have set up is great Brenda because it also lists all the titles and authors at the side :D

re this post, I got an email from jeniwren
"I have just read a post in your groups ( couldnt work out how to reply directly) and it seems some people are under the illusion that Affection and The Devils Eye are the same novel. This is not so and I see the listing at Good Reads is also wrong for The Devils Eye states that this was also published under the tile Affection. I have both novels on my shelf and have checked and they are different stories being published in 2005 and 2008."
FYI

At least I do have another of Ian Townsend to check out ;)

I've fixed it, thanks Jeniwren:)

Well, you know how clever they are, Phrynne!

The official release of the paperback of Resistance will be at Swancon in April, but I haven't got any dates for Book 3 (Frontier Defiant). There's still the editing to do - I have the first editing comments from the publisher - and then the to-ing and fro-ing that that entails.
I'll let you know, Brenda!

This sounds like a good one Brenda, I have it waiting so will be interested in your opinion.

If you're game to read it, here is my review:

That was one of the best reviews for Wuthering Heights I have read Sally, I agree with you wholeheartedly.

Me too, as soon as I finish The Bridge
Of course, by that time you will have read and reviewed it, Mrs Quicker-Than-Lightning!

Great review! Another book that was forced upon us at school, and this does nothing to make me want to revisit it. My vague memories of it agree with your review.

Liam, sounds like a great book, I'm trying to find it now too. On another note, driving down the Sturt just after xmas, it bypasses Berri now. Must be bad for business, nothing like a bypass to make a tiny town even smaller!
