Liv approached the hut, and scanned the land around it. She spotted Ethan and walked up to him. "Hi." she said.

"Shall we stroll?" she asked, smiling.
Liv began to walk with Ethan by her side. She began to converse. "So, did you go to the ball last night?" she asked.
Liv nodded. "Yeah, but I cried basically the entire time so....it wasn't really a blast."
Liv blushed. "Because, I went alone, and I have no friends, and when I came to Hogwarts I had this stupid dream that I would meet the perfect guy and we'd go to a ball together and, as you can tell that didn't happen."
Liv smiled. "That'd be nice." she laughed. "I'm sorry to pour my heart out to you."
Liv grinned. "You can pour your heart out to me if you like, in return."
Liv looked up at his face. "I'm sorry." she said softly.
Liv smiled. "I can't believe you can be so cool about something like that."
Liv laughed. "I'm sure you are." she said.
She nodded. "Maybe I know her and I just didn't know it. What's your sister's name?"
Liv sighed. "You going to the next Hogsmeade weekend?"
((Aw, yeah.)) Liv smiled. "Cool. I've never gone except to buy my dress for the ball."
Liv shrugged. "I just never even thought about going. But I can't say never. I was there for around five minutes getting my dress."
Liv shook her head again. "Nope. Never."
Liv laughed harder. "I told you! I just never thought about it. I never considered it. And I never had anyone to go with."
"Because there was never anyone to consider it with. I mostly just sat alone in the library on Hogsmeade weekend. Actually, on all weekends."
Liv smiled. "Thanks. I never had anyone to go with because nobody ever offered. I tried to make friends, but after about a day or two they all just disappeared and I never talked to them again. So I just never have had a real friend. Except my brother."
"Oh, I don't think you'd know him. He left Hogwarts a couple years ago so not many people my age interacted with him. His name is Felix."
Liv smiled. "So, what are the shops and things at Hogsmeade worth going for?"
Liv grinned. "That sounds like I will definitely enjoy some time there. Anything else?"
Liv's nose scrunched in disgust. "Blech." she said. "I heard there's some tea shop or something that's popular on Valentine's day. What's that all about?"
"Yeah. What's so great about that place? It sounds revolting to me."
"I don't really know much about it. I just heard some girls in my dorm talking about this trip one of them had to it on Valentine's day. It was mostly giggling though so it was hard to decipher most of what they were saying."
Liv nodded. "Good to know so I don't walk in and interrupt something."
"That would be extremely awkward." she giggled. Then she smiled. "It was nice of you to offer me a trip to Hogsmeade with you."
Liv grinned. "I'm glad you're gonna be the one I go with."
Liv laughed along with him. "It's just, I've never had a conversation with someone at For more than a minute. Maybe two. You're the only person I've been able to actually talk to."
Liv nodded. "Yup. You're special!" she half teased.
"Am I?" she asked. "And what makes that true?"
Liv smiled. "Okay, then." she said. "Why didn't you go to the ball?" she asked. She really didn't mean to ask, it just slipped out. She hoped he wouldn't be mad....
Liv nodded. "Yeah, the only reason I went was to show off my dress basically. I don't why I went through that trouble when nobody cared and all I did was sob into the lake."
"Mneh. You'd be surprised how often I shed tears just because of that stupid dream. I've had that dream since first year." she made a thumbs down sign. "Never happened. Won't happen for years and years and years."
"That I'll find the perfect guy at Hogwarts." she said with mock happiness and belief. "That I'll find my Prince Charming!" she continued, still using the fake voice.
She grinned right back. "You're welcome."
