The Shining question

Like Jim, Salem's Lot was the first King book I read, and it made me a fan. But I think The Stand is my favorite of the books I have read.

I have to say I love the dark tower series but it is hard to pick just one favorite from the king collection. Cell will also always be special as it was the first King book I read.

IT. hands down. i maintain that The Stand is good, but IT is his magnum opus.

Firestarter is by far my favorite.

Another I really enjoyed was Under the dome. I thought it was paced brilliantly. others may have complained about the ending, but I thought it was satisfying, and im the sort of person a book will get ruined if the ending is bad.

anyone not having read it, dont even read the synopsis, just give it a go! I did and it was well worth it

Hm, my favorite would probably have to be Carrie. I loved how, weird it was. I put this book on my paranormal shelf, because having telekinesis is something many people don't have. I loved how he took the telekinesis and gave it to a girl who used it and then she went insane. I love Stephen King's books; they're so good and they make me wanna keep reading whichever one I'm reading.

These answers are a lot more interesting than I thought they'd be. Rage (Bachman) for sentimental reasons, Dark Towers and Talismans are some of my favorites.

Pet Sematary is a favorite next to Needful Things.
