IT hasn't been revealed, that I know of. I have thought from the start that he was not really dead - Fury lied about the cards, why not the death? There are other thoughts on it - that he was a life model decoy is one...

Not too bad. It certainly makes every effort to tie into the movies, and succeeds in that. It some questions, well one anyway - but that immediately asks some more, so..
I don't know how I feel about the other characters, it is too soon... but it is nice to have Coulson back.

Awesome! Apparently my grandma who lives next door was able to watch it, and she didn't let me know she was!!! Argh...but anyway, I will be able to zip through the whole season when it comes out on dvd anyway without having to wait for the next episode haha

Okay - just watched Episode 2 and it was pretty good. I think that the show is coming along now that the introductions have been made and it is a matter of the team getting to know each other - having to work together...
Good episode.. The ending was AWESOME... I really enjoyed that. I'm glad I didn't see any spoilers - if you don't know what I mean - don't look for them - just check out the episode...

I've only seen the pilot, but thought it was decent.

Half the cast just reeks of 'Aren't we cute and quirky!', but I'm hoping that will get fixed as they go.
Coulson of course walks away with every scene he's in and Ming-Na doesn't have to do anything but stand there to impress me.

Love the 'Find me a third way' scene. It had me cheering at the TV.
Can't believe Superman can't figure out that this is how a hero works, but Coulson can...?

Seriously - it gets even better. The last episode that I saw Coulson in (I don't remember the number, but I think you have a couple to go yet) was his best performance this season...

Another person in the group had mentioned that - and that is really strange... in the US, the arranged for the events in the show to match the release of the Winter Soldier - just days in between.
I believe the UK had Cap before we did..
