X-rated while PN doesn't really have a lot of romance. Mostly I think because Felix is still feeling really guilty about the act that caused him to accept the invite to become a vamp. He DID have a love interest, but he gave her up at the end of the book. As I said--I really think he has some serious guilt issues. Still, it was an interesting read, even if the the killer turned out to be someone I'd only kind of suspected, and who turned out to be totally and completely nuts.
Not sure what I'll read next--or when I'll have time to devote to it. Sigh, this taking 2 or 3 days days to read a book is a serious downer.
Well, off to bed and hope this headache eases up while I'm sleeping.

Karen,
If you want to read more of Wrath and Beth, then you will love Lover Avenged. I think I fell in love with this couple all over again.

I hadn't realized how much I missed them, really, until Lover Avenged. It was a great tribute to them, and showed the emotional struggle they both deal with being King and "Queen"

Mindhealer, 5th in the Watcher series by Lilith Saintcrow was pretty good. I liked it better than Cloudwatcher and Storm watcher (books 2 & 4). The main characters seemed to have depth and dimension and I was drawn to the drama. It also fleshed out a little more about the Witch/Watcher bond and some more insite into the question--who would want to be a Watcher.

Hey there! I see my mother posted links so you could see the costumey fun... I have an album now with her in it so you can see her if you like... But I'll have to post it later. Look for it later this weekend... I've a busy evening ahead of me... gotta pick hubster up at the airport tonight. Trying to get some housework done before hand...I'm here to report I've read my first book! The third Harry Dresden book! I'm doing horribly at my page count, but I did a mega catch up today and finished my 2001 book. I have to read 105 pages into book 4 and I haven't had the time to start. I'm hoping for some time tomorrow and of course over the next few days as I'm headed BACK to Baltimore. I'm not sure what my internet access is going to be like so I may not get to report in until Thursday... I leave Sunday...
Anyway... One down and eight to go! When I have a better update I'll post a real list. Now, off to my chiro! (Told you it is a busy evening!)

Hotter than Hell has some really yummy short stories...
Right, another one down. Seem to be making slow progress on the actual challenge, but I'm happy with my overall book total to date. As I've just read three by Kelley Armstrong in a row, I think I'll take a short break and read one of the others in my list.2001 - American Gods by Neil Gaiman
2002 - Tithe A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black
2003 - Killing Moon by Rebecca York

There are two stories in this book and then two more in Heaven Sent 2 Hell and Faith. Each story revolves around the members of the rock band Heaven Sent. You'll want to read them in order since the story arc continues with each book. Take a look at my M/M shelf for other suggestions. If rockers aren't your thing, there are books about fireman, cowboys, cops, etc... Let me know what you think.

Slightly Married by Mary Balogh
It's In His Kiss by Julia Quinn

Took the day off and managed to finish another book - Wondrous Strange. Sadly I didn't love it as so many others did. For some reason it just didn't pull me in. It wasn't bad, but should she write more in the series, I'll likely skip them.2001 - American Gods by Neil Gaiman

Enjoyed the Waddell book.
I'm still considering my 2002-04 choices. I might try Circusex, that somebody else had on their list. It looked interesting, and is available as e-book (I hope). Most of the '04 books on other people's lists (where I was looking for suggestions), I've either already read, or they're by authors who usually don't work for me.
I'll be out of town all weekend, talking writing...
