Eliza Green | 17 comments A librarian created a kindle edition of my book and attached their review to it. I had to combine this edition with the current four editions I already have, so that I could merge the single review in with the rest. But now I have two editions showing as Kindle. There seems to be nothing stopping people who don't check if a book is already listed on Goodreads from adding a new edition.

Empress (the_empress) That is true, but the person that created the edition is not a librarian. Anyone can add an edition to GR. If they were a librarian they would have at least merged it.

You can ask for the both editions to be merged in the "delete a book" topic

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments As it only had one review, I merged it with the other Kindle edition. Recombining now.

Eliza Green | 17 comments Thanks for that Emy. I didn't want to delete it as I may have lost the review that was attached to it.

And thanks for the tip on the 'delete a book' topic, Ellie.

You are welcome, when a book has a lot of review the super-librarians there will merge it so you will not loose any reviews. :)

Great. I'm slowly getting to grips with how the site works!
