Sarah wrote "James, I want to know the same thing. I don't want to fork out for a hardback unless I know it's good. If had been a paperback it would have been an auto-buy on pre-order."My point exactly Sarah ^^
Sarah wrote: "oh i didnt know it was out already. Coz books in the UK usually come out later than everywhere else..."I thought it was strange that it was released here a few weeks earlier than in the States but I'm totally grateful!
I am currently re-reading The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost.
Just got my copy of Silver Borne (Mercedes Thompson, #5) by Patricia Briggs in e-book format. Gonna start reading it now
Yeah, have you read any of her books? Her Mercy Thompson series and Alpha & Omega series are really good and they are both set in the same Urban fantasy World.
reading Lover Mine by J.R Ward...OMG i just love this series! I don't know how Ward does it but her writing is so amazing and sophisticated. I wonder how many more books she plans on doing for the BDB series coz i wanna know more about Trez and Iam.
I'm reading Lover Mine. I was a little worried that i won't get into it since it has been a few months since Lover Avenged. But I needn't have worried. And I can't wait for the next in the series of BDB.
DarkHeart "Vehngeance" wrote: "I'm going to a Rachel Caine signing in London next week and had been hoping for an early sneek at Carpe Corpus, but from an e-mail I got today, it doesn't look likely. I'm desperate..."the mortal instruments is my favorite book series i hope you enjoy them as much as i did
i just finished the dark divine and it was brilliant. I've waited since the reckoning came out to read it and it finally came into the library so as soon as i can im going to get it!
just got my e-book copy of Twice Bitten by Chloe Neill. I havent been this nervous about reading a book since...I dnt know ...Magic bleeds by Ilona Andrews or rachel caines Gale force.
I just started reading the Fever series by Karen Moning and i LOVE IT! Cant believe I waited this long to read it. I'm halfway through Dreamfever
I'm starting to finish the series of the Otherworld now, mostly because I'd gotten to the first two and then never past. I LOVE up to the fourth, and am about to start the fifth, Eve's story!
Today I'm reading Kelley's Broken (Otherworld #6) and will probably start Personal Demon (Otherworld #8) tonight or tomorrow.

He doesn't sound southern to me either and I grew up in Alabama, so I know Southern. lol
Same. For some reason accents don't show up in my head for Clay and Benicio. I only recently realized that Benicio is supposed to have an accent when I listened to an audio-book of one of the short stories and the guy was trying to do a Spanish accent. Not sure if KA actually mentions that in the book though or the audio guy was just doing it for the sake of it.

Sometimes what's in my head isn't necessarily how the writer describes it.
To Candy. I also prefer books to audio books. I rarely use audio-books because its not like normal books where you can take your time to read it. however sometimes when i do rereads i use audio-books just to hear what the characters emotions n stuff sound like. but not all the time.
Speaking of which i would really like to read the audio-book for One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost if there is one. But I'm also hesitating because i dont want the way i imagine the characters to be ruined as this is my favourite all time series.

reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. Only got a few pages left :(
just finished Reading Alpha by Rachel Vincent. Just wished we'd gotten an epilogue of what happened next but it was still good.
Finishing Firespell (dark elite 1)by chloe neill, starting clockwork angel (the infernal devices 1), and of course rereading the awakening (darkest powers 2) I think i read too much.
I'm reading On The Edge by Ilona Andrews. At the very beginning it was a little hard to get into but now I can't put it down. Andrews always manages to delight me :)
I have finished
A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore it was one of the funniest books I have ever read, just what I needed.
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa what an enthralling read. and I have just started
Magic Bites
Lady Vale has inspired me to get back into the Otherworld series, so I'm starting
today. Last night I finished the latest Midnight Breed,
and quite enjoyed it.

James, I want to know the same thing. I don't want to fork out for a hardback unless I know it's good. If had been a paperback it would have been an auto-buy on pre-order.
