"The Infernal Devices" - This series completely blew me away! I have re-read TID three times now, and it still never ceases to amaze me. The story line is unique and incredibly intriguing. The characters, oh my the characters, are absolutely phenomenal. William Herondale (my personal favorite!) is humorous, mysterious, handsome, witty, intelligent (most of the time!), strong and independent, head-strong, and has kick-ass fighting skills. Tessa Gray is smart, witty, kind and considerate, strong and independent, brave, and self-sacrificing. James Carstairs is kind, caring, quiet, intelligent, strong and independent in a quiet way, and just an overall sweet person. There are so many other characters with good qualities as well, but these are my absolute favorites. There are so many words that I could use to describe this series: phenomenal, incredible, exceptional, genius, amazing, fantastic, exquisite, mind-blowing, awesome, and so many more that I can't cant think of at the moment. Everyone, and I mean everyone, should definitely read this phenomenal YA series by the exceptionally talented and creative author, Cassandra Clare!
