.I finally got all three books from the library (I'd tried twice this year already, but only got two of them, so I'd returned them unread.)
I just finished The Troop. Most people fall somewhere in the middle in liking it, I loved it. Currently reading The Hike. It's out-there, along the lines of John Dies at the End and very entertaining.
Yesterday I finished Preacher, Volume 2: Until the End of the World. this is a shoking series, but I'm looking forward to read the third book. Now I'm reading Uncle Dynamite, a funny story. I like Wodehouse's humor, his vivid way of describe scenes and characters. And, in this story I like lord Ickenham, an incredible character.
Just finished HALF ASLEEP IN FROG PAJAMAS. My four-star review is posted at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I'm starting Wool
Also just finished Backwoods Ripper by Anna Willett. Four stars... really enjoyed it and recommend it to fans of Stephen King horror. My review is posted at at BACKWOODS RIPPER: a gripping action suspense thriller

I read Velocity by Dean Koontz and it was a cracking story, I rated 4★ because I just wasn't feeling the tension and suspense at the start even though there was a lot going on
I finished Preacher, Volume 3: Proud Americans, another nice book in this series. Now I'm reading The Stone and the Flute, a wonderful fantasy, a fairy tale with magical settings.
I recently bought 'Salem's Lot (very, very late!), but planned on making myself finish the other books I had begun before starting. I am a noodle! Not only did I begin before I finished the two I was in, but also started If Life Is a Bowl of Cherries What Am I Doing in the Pits? out of boredom in a line last night! My next goal is to force myself finish the actual book before allowing myself to read the "deleted scenes". Ha! Not holding my breath.
When she was bad by Tammy Cohen was fab, now reading Under a silent moon by Elizabeth Haynes and so far it's really good
Kelle wrote: "I'm reading The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson and the Strange Visions short story collection."The Way of Kings is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy it!
I recently finished Shutter Island and it was really great. I think fans of Stephen King would enjoy it. I am currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora
I'm reading Childe Roland To The Dark Tower Came. I thought I'd read it as background before I start my copy of The Gunslinger. Has anyone else read this? And if you did, what were your thoughts?
I plan on starting
tonight. I bought it a while ago and with a movie coming out next month I moved it to the top of the list.

On the homepage of this group you can upload photos and label them.
Currently giving Peter Straub's Ghost Story a second try. Liking it more than the first time, though it isn't amazing me, either.
Having a really hard time getting into Lisey's Story. Is it just me, or did anyone else find it difficult to get into? Does it get better? Should I keep with it?

I recently read The Library at Mount Char, Undermajordomo Minor, and Eating the Dinosaur. Now, I'm reading The Tommyknockers.
Finished The Black Box
by Michael Connelly. Rating 3/5.My quick review if anyone is interested - https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm reading The Teacher by Katerina Diamond and it's surprisingly good although the proof reader should be shot lol
Rhian wrote: "I'm reading The Teacher by Katerina Diamond and it's surprisingly good although the proof reader should be shot lol"MY proof reader should be shot too. After I paid her $$$$, a Goodreads friend read the book and found 80 (yes eighty) errors. Most of them were small like a missing quotation mark or something but still. I just republished. As for The Teacher... I like your recommendations, Rhian, so keep us posted. I'll check it out when I get a chance.
The Langoliers. I deprioritise the SK short stories and novellas because I prefer the bigger stories that I can really settle into hence why I haven't already read Four Past Midnight. The Langoliers is unbelievable. He has so many things going on inside this story so it remains captivating once you get into it. Fantastic.
Hi Nick sorry to hear that, thankfully the teacher was such a brilliant story I stopped noticing the errors I would definitely recommend it, so good I read it in 2 days and rated 5★
After a run of psychological thrillers I'm now reading secret window, secret garden by S.K I've read it many years ago and so far I can't remember what happens which is good
Last comment honestly I also read Keep your friends close by Paula Daly 3★ not one I'd recommend it was decent enough but nothing special, oh and I read rage and the langoliers a while ago and they were both fantastic

I just got The Teacher, and I'm also starting to listen to the audiobook of THE SHINING. Haven't read it in 12 years. So much internal monologue. Astoundingly good. I'd forgotten.
