I didn't even know he had adult stuff. I read all of those YA books as well. I am definitely going to check this one out.

Loved this! Anything by Moore blows me away, but this series is so full of Easter Eggs and hidden meanings/clues that it's more than just reading. It's like exercising your brain. :)

Tracey (traceypb) I'm reading one of my favourite authors first 2 books. Wind/Pinball by Haruki Murakami. Feels like a portent to what's to come but in retrospect. :)

I've finished Cell a couple of days ago. A great story, with an original idea, that has been used from a lot of author in these years. I hope you like it :)

Andy Davidson (theandydavidson) Almost finished with MOBY DICK. First time I've ever read it, despite being an English major. But that's okay, because you need to come to this one at a time in your life when you're ready to come to it.

Hi Jini! I started this one only yesterday, but it's intriguing and with a nice pace.
I'm looking forward to see what will happen. :)
You're welcome. I'm happy to know you like this group. Stephen King is a great source of stories to talk about.

I read [book:The Name of the Wind|186074] last year. A nice and magical story, with a good pace and wonderful characters. I'm looking forward to read the next, but I hope there aren't too many books. I will die waiting between one and the other. :)

Would you recommend dark dark wood?

message 3982: by Rhian (new)

Rhian (rhianlovesbooksx1f4d6) | 508 comments Hi Nick, yes I probably would recommend but I think it would appeal more to women only because it's about a hen party, I rated 5★ which is too high on reflection I think I was just relieved to read something good after a few poor books

You couldn't go wrong by following Mr. Mercedes with the sequel: Finders Keepers. IMHO, Finders is a much better book.

And the final book of the trilogy, End of Watch, is coming out in less than a month (June 7), so you could knock out the whole trilogy at once!
