Just started blood infernal the last book in the order of the sanguines trilogy. I loved the previous ones and just a couple of pages in it looks like its going to be a great wrap up to the series

I liked the story and all the characters, villain included. Tomorrow I'll start The Little Sister, another story about Philip Marlowe.
I just finished "Dear Committee Members" and don't see what all the fuss was about. Now I'm exvited to have started "14" by Peter Clines.

I have 14 but haven't read it yet. Come back and let us know how it is!

I'm not usually a huge fan of short stories, but there are a few really fun ones in this collection. I haven't read my copy of Full Dark, No Stars yet. That and Everything's Eventual are next on the list!
I ordered a used hard cover copy of NIGHT FILM from Amazon about a month ago. It just showed up yesterday. Looks great... can't wait to get into it. First though I think I'd better finish The Silkworm.

I have read the first few stories in Everything's Eventual and enjoyed them but I haven't picked it up in a while. I really liked Night Shift so I want to check out more of his short stories.
@Nick I hope you enjoy Night film.as much as I did, I downloaded the app but it didn't work for me although I'm glad now I wouldn't have wanted any clues

Just flipping though the book and looking through the pictures makes me want to get started. It's been a long time since I sat down with a hard cover book.
@Nick I loved all the photos and articles they really added that something special to the book and I loved the characters too I'm still thinking about this book weeks later
Finished Prince of Nightmares
by John McNee. Nicely reminiscent of Clive Barker. If you're interested, you can read my review at:

I started Everything's Eventual last year but I haven't got around to finishing it off. I really enjoyed the story about the autopsy room :)
Finished The Silkworm and have posted a review at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show.... Just starting NIGHT FILM.

I am ignoring people's reviews of books. It works both ways. I keep getting gipped on 4 and 5 star reviews and they "love" the book only to find it average. I don't care if it's average as long as it's was enjoyable. But I don't like feeling let down if I don't feel the same way.
I finished Mort today and its my favorite discworld book so far. Now I'm going to take a break from Discworld and read something I've been wanting to get to for a long time. Tomorrow I start The Stand.

That is very true - I've found the same with a few highly rated books. Let's hope we both find From a Buick 8 an enjoyable read and I will look forward to discussing it with you Nancy!

Great book... but as wonderful as it is to read it, it's even better to get the audiobook and have Neil Gaiman read it to you.
Debbie wrote: "I just started reading The Colorado Kid by Stephen King."One of my very favorites. So much so, that I got a bit obsessed with "solving" it for a while. If you like it, try the SyFy show Haven. :)
I am reading The Bazaar of Bad Dreams. I have finished six of the stories, so far. I have most enjoyed The Dune and Batman and Robin Have an Altercation, but all the stories have been pretty good.
Just over half way through Bazaar of bad dreams and so far it's been a solid collection with a couple of standout stories.
I'm still working on Under The Dome. Moving to a different state is really putting a damper on my read time.
Today I've started The Long Goodbye. I know that at this point the schema of these novels is always the same, but I like this genre of books.
I read 1922 from Full Dark, No Stars this week and it was great. Fully recommend it. Continuing my break from Blood Meridian, I will be starting From a Buick 8 next. I got the book when it was first published and have started it twice but never got through it - I think I was influenced by the 'hype' at the time that SK had had his day. I'm looking forward to reading it again now without these negative influences.
Hey Guys.... I really need your opinion on what to read next between Pet Cemetery <\b> or An Interview with a vampire <\b> Both have caught my interest and both sound creepy... I am stuck at a crossroad

They are such different kinds of novels that you could almost just pick one blindly because how else can you decide? They are both worth reading in my opinion. One is gothic and is (if you have children) crap your pants scary.

It's like how deep into the ocean do you want to dive. If you want to stay near the surface where the currents are strong and you might get swept away... go with Pet Cemetery. If you want to go way the hell down there to explore dark caverns you may never get out of, Interview that damn vampire.
