I enjoyed the previous three books! Figured I have to read the last one so I can complete the series. I have many other series I need to get to!

Maria Koch | 27 comments i'm reading lotr the two tower rn, i am in the part eith the ents right now, i love it, i personally prefer it to the first one. I feel like the writing is better/easier, however that might be the aftereffect of me reading TEOTW earlier this year💀 loved TEOTW but the writing was certainly something. Both were german translations.

Carla | 1 comments I am currently reading a collection of Chekhov’s short stories. I was prompted by Francine Prose’ book, “Reading Like a Writer”, the best guide for readers who want to enjoy reading more. I’ve read a few books on writing, and one on Reading: “How To Read A Book” by Mortimer J. Adler. Adler’s book is a didactic approach to the “ canon” of the 1950’s - mostly white male writers. Francine Prose shows how to read words, sentences, paragraphs, narration, character, etc., in any book from any era. It’s been a revelation.

Andrew✌️ (andrew619) | 335 comments I finished Quando lottano gli dei (Urania), an intriguing novel, a mix between fantasy and sci fi.
Today I started A Closed and Common Orbit. I read the first book in the series years ago, now I discovered this one. I'm curious to see what it's like.

Dixie Dylla (dixiedylla) | 8 comments Working my way thru Ryan Casey’s “Survive the Darkness” series… currently on book 3. It’s interesting because it takes place in England rather than the usual USA, saved by the big, resourceful, brave Marine, that most of the apocalyptic type books follow.
