I got the book on a whim from a little library, I actually didn't know how many books were in the series.
The Hot L Baltimorea play by Landlord Wilson
a friend and I was trying to start a plays/drama reading club.
it did not work out, but I still love reading plays/drama.
I just finished the Talisman and now I’m reading the eyes of the dragon. Part of my attempt to work through the dark tower series! I read the gunslinger and the drawing of the three. After I finish the eyes of the dragon I’ll move onto the waste lands.

Has anyone else seen this because it's pretty amazing?! Castle Rock Kitchen: Wicked Good Recipes from the World of Stephen King A Cookbook by Theresa Carle-Sanders

I have that one at home and have a few recipes that I want to try. It's got beautiful pictures, and the excerpts from King's books is an added bonus.
Right now I'm reading Dark Tower lV Wizard and Glass. It's my first reading of the DT series and I'm absolutely loving it so far. Books 2 and 3 are both some of my favorite books of all time and I already want to reread them. I will probably be taking a break in between books 4 and 5 to read Salem's Lot and few others. What a journey it's been!

I just started Bones & All by Camille DeAngelis in anticipation of the movie. It starts off with a big bang!
Finally started my Stephen King chronological (re)read and am reading CARRIE; audiobook listening to DRACULA.
The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter by Theodora Gods, perfect for Halloween. Also The Right Attitude to Rain by Alexander McCall Smith, and The Memory of Babel by Christelle Dabos.****

@Brenda 2 excellent books. I read Dracula again earlier this year. I love that Stoker made Mina a strong female character, impressive for the time period Stoker was writing in. Carrie was my first Stephen King read, lol, as I read it when it first came out in the 1970's, have been following him ever since. Planning to read Carrie again and revisit other works. I just finished Salem's Lot a little while ago, still as wonderful chilling as I remember from my first read years ago.
Finished Shirly McLaine's - Sage-ing while Age-ing. Just started The Field by Lynne McTaggart. Currently have been reading non fiction the past month. May have to take a break and get back to Stephen King. I have been seeing a number of comments about Fairy Tale here and on Youtube, sounds like a good read.

As to her movies, her path and mine seldom crossed, but I did like her in The Trouble With Harry, Two Mules For Sister Sara, and The Apartment. She's 88 and still working. I think some of Clint Eastwood's immortality may have rubbed off on her while making Two Mules For Sister Sara.
I recently bought two first editions of books by Carol Joyce Oates because my daughter had to read them for college courses. They are the most disturbing books I have EVER read. Zombie, which I finished and felt sick over, and Rape: A Love Story which I am almost finished with.
The title of Rape: A Love Story is enough to turn me off from it without even knowing what it’s about. I’ve just read a few short stories by Oates years ago and didn’t like them.
Wise Cat wrote: "The title of Rape: A Love Story is enough to turn me off from it without even knowing what it’s about. It's a horrific account of victim blaming.
I haven't enjoyed much that I've read by her either, but she is definitely a skilled writer.
I know this is a non-King section but I'm actually currently reading The Stand!I read Carrie for the first time last summer and I just thought "why not read all of King's book in chronological order?" and here I am. I'm 200 pages in, found it a bit slow at first but it turned out to be a page-turner, loving it
Wanda, Carrie was the first King book I read, having read it not long after seeing the movie. I liked Sissy Spacek in the role.Still working on the books I mentioned previously. Thinking of reading Bright Sided by Barbara Ehrenheich, if I spelled that right. I didn’t want to read the book club pick for November, some book about Nazi Germany. It’s fiction but I still don’t want to read that!
