Currently I'm reading. Heart Shaped Box and really enjoying it! It's had such a creepy feel thus far!
Just finished "Razorblade Tears" by S.A. Crosby. It was great! Currently reading "Annihilation" by Jeff Vandermeer which I'm enjoying so far.

I've read The Fireman and NOS4A2! I really enjoyed both of them!
NOS4A2 is great! I've also read & really enjoyed Heart-Shaped Box & some of the Locke & Key graphic novels. I plan to read The Fireman and Horns. I bought the movie Horns & plan to watch that 1st which is my habit.

Not Radcliffe's fault, it's just a concept that is going to look cheezy on screen when compared to what a reader can internally visualize.

The movie was the reason why I waited a long time before reading the book. If anything, I should have done the opposite.

Those are both good too!

I will wait a while to read it, but I definitely want to. I like to watch 1st because most often I find watching after reading disappointing. This way I enjoy the 2 experiences the most. But, I know most readers prefer to read 1st.
I'm reading The Chronicles of Harris Burdick: Fourteen Amazing Authors Tell the Tales, which is a fun collection of short stories by popular author's that take off from the original illustrations and one liners.

I've been in a page and screen book club for 13 years. We only do books with a screen adaptation. We read and watch then get together to discuss and compare. We try to make sure some of us watch first and some of us read first. It's amazing how much the order changes the feelings.

I am very interested in this club!
I forgot to mention I read Joe Hill's short story collection Full Throttle!

I love it. I am pushed to read/watch things I otherwise might not, and so are the others in the group. It's interesting the number of screen adaptations we have felt were better than the source. Not often, but more often than you might think!
Erin - it's good, I really like the pop culture references but I do feel like I've read this story before. ("Ready Player One" by Ernest Cline)
I’m still reading Desperation by sai King… it takes me a long time because I don’t seem te be able to concentrate on reading these days… It’s not that I don’t enjoy it, there is just a lot on my mind. Hope to finish soon and start a new book

Just finished Chris Abani's Graceland which I generally enjoyed and is now juggling 3 books; God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by Kurt Vonnegut, Edith Wharton's The Age Of Innocence, and The Elements Of Style by William Strunk Jr. and E.B. White.
Like Danielle I’m having trouble concentrating on my books too as so much weighs heavily on my mind. I’m about half way through The Binding by Bridget Collins and Classified as Murder by Miranda James, #2 in the Cat in the Stacks mysteries. Pacing myself through The Binding as a character in it makes my skin crawl…😮
Also reading Endgame by David Baldacci, a spy thriller and part of a series..So far it’s working as a stand alone book, as I didn’t realize it was a series installment.
