Somewhere along the line, you should read "The Little Sisters of Eluria," from Everything's Eventual."

I enjoyed pretty much all the stories in Everything's Eventual. The story about Dinky turns out to be super important later in the series.

Kandice | 4387 comments I also love Everything's Eventual. I think the vast majority of the stories were terrific, and having a couple relate to DT was a nice surprise.

I liked it too, and was very nervous I wouldn't! I trust Nick in all other things, so I should have had more faith. ;-)

F.C. Schaefer | 174 comments Finally took that copy of Needful Things that has been on my shelf far too long and decided to finally read it. On page 140, good so far, but a lot references, like to the long cancelled soap opera, Santa Barbara, date it.

Melissa (mebekas) | 3 comments I am reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, for the second time. I read it about 10 years ago, and felt lost most of the time. LOL. The second time around, it makes much more sense. It’s so good!

I actually love that it dates itself. Reminds me a bit of Grady Hendrix who seems to love the 80's so much he has built his novels around the decade. They become nostalgic, and I feel the same about King from this period, but after the fact.

I felt that I needed an index reference book. That tell you what book or story the character was in before this book.
