Weaving Destiny the second book in the series of the Soulkeepers I can't wait to finish this one and move onto the third and fourth book in the series.
Doreen wrote: "Just started reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote."this is an awesome book I enjoyed it very much
Yesterday I finished L'ultima avventura del pirata Long John Silver, a short novel connected to La vera storia del pirata Long John Silver, a chronicles of the Long John Silver's life.Today I started The Last Legion, an historical novel about the fall of the Roman Empire, by one of my favorites author.
Just finished Noir, I'll have a review up shortly, also I owe you one on Beauty's Kingdom. I'm reading Song of Susanna more faithfully now.
Just started The Death Cure by James Dashner, #3 in the Maze Runner trilogy. I'm not enjoying it as much as the first two but still loving it mostly. After this I need to take a break from it and read something else. At one point I want to read the prequels The Kill Order and Fever Code.
Here's my review of Christopher Moore's hilarious new book, NOIR https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I’m reading the latest from Ted Dekker, and finishing my reread of IT. Waiting impatiently for The Outsider.
Starship Troopers by Heinlein. Somehow I missed reading this over the years, even though I love Heinlein. Enjoying it thus far, great first chapter.
I’m enjoying The Outsider by Stephen King. I’m 55 pages in and it’s awesome so far. My local Walmart put it on the shelves yesterday.
Marc-Antoine wrote: "I’m enjoying The Outsider by Stephen King. I’m 55 pages in and it’s awesome so far. My local Walmart put it on the shelves yesterday."I've preordered it, looking forward to it.
I'm 200 pages into Red Sister by Mark Lawrence.Quite enjoying it, even though as is usually the case with me and "doorstop" sized fantasy novels I'm having a dickens of a time keeping the characters straight. So many.
Linda what do you think of it so far? I see it's a group read but spoilers on the post so I can't look there
Still reading It by Stephen King. About 300 pages to go. I just bought the Sleeping Beauties hardcover while it was on sale. Maby I'll read that one next.
The books are piling up. Had nothing on my audio list, so I started Born a Crime by Trevor Noah, not a horror story per se, but still amazing so far. Still reading Night Shift and Song of Susannah. Also agreed to read a couple of books for friends. Yikes.
Linda I'm put off by the size of the actual book it's a massive paperback and not great for reading in bed 😂
I recently read:The Chalk Man
The Girl With All the Gifts
Noir
The Call of Cthulhu
Now I'm reading The Outsider.
Now reading City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, #1 in The Mortal Instruments series. It's YA fantasy.I'd like to buddy read if anyone wants to do that. I started a thread in the YA group I belong to but so far no takers. It's over 400 pages, much longer than most YA books I'v read which have been 300 -350 pages. So I'll be reading it awhile.
Still on The Death Cure but in the home stretch now.
Also will be reading French Kiss by James Patterson. It's one of his "Bookshots" novelettes.
Hey wise cat I’m reading shadow hunter series now I’m on book 1 clockwork angel I want to join when it start?
Erin wrote: "The War of the Worlds"One of my all time favourite novels, definitely my favourite SF. Is it your first read of it?
I finished The Last Legion, a good historical novel, great pace, good story and a very detailed description about the roman empire and its falls. Now I'm reading Kenobi, the title says it all!
Just started The Elric Saga Part I and for all that it is supposed to be a seminal text for everything from Fantasy literature to tabletop gaming to video games to (I believe movies) I'm afraid to this point I'm more irritated with it than I am anything else. Hopefully it improves.
Matt wrote: "Erin wrote: "The War of the Worlds"One of my all time favourite novels, definitely my favourite SF. Is it your first read of it?"
Yes, it is.
Monique wrote: "Hey wise cat I’m reading shadow hunter series now I’m on book 1 clockwork angel I want to join when it start?"Thanks, but it sounds like I'm way behind. LOL I'm just 100 pages into a book that's over 400 pages. Clockwork angel sounds like it's part of the next part of the saga??
I'm looking to see if there's a thread under the book's discussions on the bottom first.

Nice job. I liked the whole review (don't agree about Cujo - I loved the book - but I liked your review. ) The framing of the shot of you is great, the cats add a nice touch. The graphics that you bring in over your talk are good, you could have done a little more of that. The jump cuts don't hurt. Sometimes you tend to talk a little too fast, especially at the start, but I wouldn't try too hard to address that since it might distract you. Again, nice job. Thanks.
