Vicki was a huge help to me with getting the books rearranged when I had to remove some people. I basically just copy/pasted her format to submit the final categories.

Thanks Teresa, I had fun rearranging it all. I swear I spend more time playing with challenges than I do actually reading! ;)What does everyone think about doing a second round of the 7%? It wouldn't count for anything and it would be totally optional, but I thought it might give us something fun to do while we work on some mini-challenges.
I'm game for a second round, considering I'm still behind on my reading plan for the challenge, LOL. I started my plan when we were but a tiny little group and I wasn't sure how long it would take us to complete it. I've still got most of my books here from the library and have intentions of reading most of them anyway!
We probably could do it again given how fast everybody finishes their books!! Thanks for all your hard work Mary and Vicky :)
Ok so lets see if we can complete it again. I based my reading plan for the 7% challenge on what I wanted to read soon for other challenges. I almost tossed my written list of Behind the Enemy lines books I made. Glad I kept it.
I definitely think we can do it again, at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't make it three rounds. :)I was also thinking that if anyone we had to drop from the first round wants to play along, I don't see any reason they can't join back in. Unless anyone feels strongly otherwise, but since it's just for fun now I don't see any harm in it.
I think that would be fun, but we could always go beyond that. Maybe the spell-it-out could be spelling PEWTER BLUE or something instead :) and instead of a moon on the cover, we could look for suns or swimming pools (it is summer)
We won't get any credit for doing it a 2nd time so we can use any team members books. I like the idea of doing a Pewter Blue spell out is a mini-challenge another time. Maybe that can be one of the August ones we submit.

I know, I'm so glad I made a Behind Enemy Lines "possible reads" list on my update post!

It was ok. Started off REALLY slow for me. I got it when it first came out, but decided to pick it up again and it got much better, maybe about 30% into it.
Some Round 2 Info!I'm keeping a spreadsheet with a list of books and categories they fit in so we can see easily see what categories we need to fill in, feel free to take a peek and let me know if I missed any categories a book would fit in!
Since this round is for fun, we're not going to be as immediate with updates. If we haven't updated in a few days, it's not because we've forgotten, just that we're taking it easy and it will be less shuffling if we wait until we're closer to 49 books and have a clearer picture of what we're working with. :)
We finished again, yay! :) Once they open up submissions for bonus cupcakes, we'll have 5 more coming our way!Category #1: Behind Enemy Lines

Woop woop!We have yet to use any of these cupcakes we have.
I saw that the bouncing cupcake thread for chunky books was open. How are we doing on that? Can we redeem some for our doorstopper books?
We completed the series so we have 12 bouncing cupcakes to spend and we have more than 12 books we can claim, so we'll be able to get 12 bonus points! I have to verify them with Countess Paige, but I want to wait for the page count/children's books/word count ruling from the mods so I don't give her too much work and then have things change. :)
We get bouncing cupcakes (
) from the Spot the Differences puzzles that Captain Cupcake gives us here.As a team we did all 12 puzzles in the latest series of Spot the Differences, so we have 12
. We can use these twelve cupcakes to cash in chunksters (450+ page books) for bonus points. For each chunkster we turn in we get an extra point added to our book total. In other words, with a
, a chunkster counts as two books instead of one.
Thanks for the explanation- so to clarify, for the next 12 times we read a book over 450 pages we can cash in a bouncing cupcake and it will be worth 2 books? Because if so, that is AWESOME- pretty much all my books are that long, so I'll be happy if that gets rewarded!
Not necessarily. We can cash in on any 450+ book we've read so far this challenge. As of the 15th we had already read 35, give or take a few that are iffy on the page count/word count. But there will probably more
up for grabs throughout the challenge, so don't let that dissuade you from reading longer books! :)
I know we don't get anything from it, but are we doing an informal 3rd round? I know how much Vicky enjoys tracking challenges, so I was wondering if she was going to go ahead and track another round, hehe!
