Kim Redding | 9 comments This book was perhaps a mystery written by a Canadian author and it included a cat named Eglinton....Thanks in advance.

Was the cat an integral part of the story? Or just a minor point in the plot?

Please tell us more about the book. For example, the people in the story, nature of the mystery, location, what made it memorable, is it from the cat's perspective, etc.?

Kris's post in another thread made me wonder if you are looking for Blackbriar - she says it has a cat named Islington.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Here's a bump for summer. Come back in a couple of months and bump it again, ok?

Michele | 2488 comments Are you sure it was the cat and not the cat's owner who was named Eglinton (or maybe Eglantine)? In Bedknobs and Broomsticks there's a woman named Eglantine Price and she has a cat. Or it might be one of the two books this was based on, Mary Norton's The Magic Bedknob and Bonfires and Broomsticks.
