The first Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (#IFFP) read will be this years winner The Detour by Gerbrand Bakker. The book is also known as "Ten White Geese". It was translated by David Colmer. This is the second book we read in June 2013.

Hello everybody, just another two days and we start our first #iffp monthly read. I have to admit I have an advantage as I have been reading it already while shadowing the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize (#iffp). But I think it is good that the moderator is a bit ahead :-). I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I did. You can read my review on my bookshelve but I will add some more here later on in the month.
