Thanks for the encouragement. I knew I'd need to be pushed into this one.

Brittany, I plan to read Slam and Wake Me up inside as well. Hopefully, I'll get to more.

Nadine -- I am glad you are happy with your choices. I haven't read m/f romances in a while so I was a bit unsure.

Hey Bre, can I say I already love you?? lol
I just loved everything you picked for me ... thank you so much. I'm sure I'm going to have a blast.
Oh and yes, I really love Abbi Glines. Breathe is one of my faves and I also love Samantha Young...
I started screaming with joy when I saw "Down London Road" there. hehe

As for the Buddy Reads I would love to do that! :)
But we have to set a date to start reading, I'm a little buzzy this coming week.

Well, let me know ok?

message 364: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new)

~KarenH~ | 11338 comments I finished my first pick this morning - My Summer of Wes. Since this was the second month in a row that it was recommended, I figured I'd better get to it, and it didn't disappoint. What a wonderful, sweet love story! Thanks for the great pick, Brandilyn!

message 365: by Raquel (new)

Raquel Braido (rachbraido) Hey Suzanne! :D
Here are the books I picked for you:

Hot Tamales
1- Tangled by Emma Chase (Hot Cover and the blurb was beyond sexy)
2- Up In Flames by Nicole Williams (This was beyond sexy … when you meet Cole you’ll get what I’m saying)

Ghirardelli Chocolate
Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (I’m recommending the series ‘cause this was a super emotional one for me and I needed a large dose of chocolate to stay calm after 4 books)
P.S.: I started with Shadows but you can start with Obsidian and read Shadows after it, if you like.
1- Shadows
2- Obsidian
3- Onyx
4- Opal

Tootsie Pop
Crash by Nicole Williams (So I saw this one is in your TBR shelf since July 2012. I read it in May and loved it. You can see my review there if you like.)

M&M’s
1- The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski (I saw you haven’t read it yet and it just made my day. I just love to recommend this one … IT IS MY FAVORITE and I LOVE IT WITH ALL MY HEART. It is not so new there but I’m from Brazil and it was released last month here, so I guess it counts, right?)
2- Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire (Travis’s story will blow your mind)

Skittles
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
On Dublin Street by Samantha Young (Your TBR list)

Twix
Down London Road by Samantha Young (On Dublin Street #2 … since I recommended you the first, I thought you could read the second and it fits right here.)

Laffy Taffy
Wallbanger by Alice Clayton (I couldn’t stop laughing with this one and since I saw it in your TBR list I thought you could read it)

Well I hope you enjoy it, sweetheart.
Sorry I was a little late.
;)

I believe the first thing I said in my review was that I hated the ending! That is the reason I read romance, need that HEA! But overall, I think the series is very good and will read the last one this month - really hoping I get a great ending there!!

Ty | 1943 comments Hi Jane!

finished Never Love a Highlander - liked it enough but not as well as the first 2. I'm gonna take a Scottish-Maya break and dig into Kresley Cole's Highlander series before starting MB's 2nd Highlander series. ha!

okay - this I'm afraid to tell you - I finished Caine's Reckoning... and I was not a fan. sorry! I know you reaaaally liked it but it never connected with me. I ended up skimming the back 50%.

I should be finished with Oath of Seduction: Seducing Sharon today. I know the Mars-needs-Venus trope is silly and overdone but I can't help but giggle everytime I read it. So far, this is light, fun, mindless erotica. :D

done:
