So, this is the place to talk and discuss about the book you will be reading for June's Challenge - which is about summer/beach books!

Feel free to post which book you think you'll read next month. If you are still having a hard time making your decision, maybe some of the nice folks here will make a few suggestions for you!

Have fun!! :D

I think I've already chosen my beach read!

I got Love Finds You in Treasure Island, Florida by Debby Mayne last Christmas when it was on sale and I've been waiting for the perfect time to read it. Looks like I'll get the chance soon!

That one sounds so sweet! I don't know which one I'll pick.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for the "Love Finds You" books. XD And I'm sure finding a summery read wont be too hard, considering your huge to-read list. Lol.

I really liked The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and it would count for both this challenge and the banner challenge. It's real life fiction, too, rather than fantasy...

Kate (kaitlins16) I'm not sure how many of the books I'm going to be reading will be related to the beach theme, but hopefully I can squeeze at least one in.

No need to stress if you can't! I know you probably have a lot of other Group Reads to read. :)

Kate (kaitlins16) It's partially that. But mostly it's the huge pile of books that I already own that need my attention.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a beachy book. It can be a book where the characters are on vacation or one that simply takes place in the summer. I suggested The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood, #1) by Ann Brashares earlier. It's a great summer book!

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Here are some good summer books:

- The Sisterhood Traveling Pants series by Ann Brashares (I'll be reading the 4th one)
- The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer, #1) by Jenny Han It's Not Summer Without You (Summer, #2) by Jenny Han We'll Always Have Summer (Summer, #3) by Jenny Han (I've read this though)
- My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Thanks for the extra recommendations, Beatrice! I'm sure they'll be helpful!

Kate (kaitlins16) I finished Breathe (Sea Breeze, #1) by Abbi Glines today for the beach challenge.

Awesome! Too bad it wasn't as good as the other ones, though. :/

Kate (kaitlins16) I know what you mean. I read books 2 and 3 last year, and I just absolutely both of them. Then I finally read the first Sea Breeze book today, and I was a little let down.

I still got book four to read, though.

I just finished Love Finds You in Treasure Island, Florida by Debby Mayne for the challenge. It was a very sweet, quick read. :)

I hope everyone else is enjoying the challenge!
