finished chapter 8

I like it so far, the world feels like how it did when I read with all the medical aspects of the story as a way of controling the society and Zoe reminds me of Lena in the way that she doesn't know things...simple things and also thinking she's wrong or bad when she has certain feelings. Adrien seems like a good guy, but his slang he's using for curse words is just awkward and forced! But so far that is my only hang up! :)

Max (view spoiler)[ I don't trust him and I'm not entirely sure why. Is he a monitor? Or is he just a lecher? He was very handsy and what a question to ask!! I mean really, I know he's a teenage boy and all, but good grief!! (hide spoiler)]

I'm really liking now and the pages are really turning, I'll read more before I go into work and at break! :)

Max (view spoiler)[ I still can't decide about him! Is he just stupid and taking risks or is he a monitor? He know too many things about procedures and diagnostic tests. I wouldn't put it past the Uppers to have him as a monitor, especially after the things that Adrien and Zoe found on the Central System mainframe! Then again he acts like a jealous boyfriend on steroids! (hide spoiler)]

Poor Zoe! (view spoiler)[ I'm so sad for her that her dream was real and she was only 4 years old!! That was so awful and I really like her character! Even with all that she's not whinny and annoying! (hide spoiler)]

The v-chip! (view spoiler)[ At first it seemed to me that Adriden and Zoe had a case of insta love, but then I thought about it and I could see where Zoe would feel those emotions really strong because she'd never felt them before!

Adrien would feel like he knows her at least a little and we don't know what was in or the extent of his visions so I could see where his feelings for her would be farther along than normal. Though I'm kind of glad that she went back, lost her memory and is having to get to know him and their feelings for each other are developing at a more slower pace.

Also I could see Adrien's point when he explained Max's anger issues and Max not knowing how to deal with them makes it worse, but I think there is more to it than that. It's like with Max at least, the v-chip took the emotion away so when he started glitching and his hormones are raging, but also it's magnified because of the amount of hormones he has all at once. Like maybe he would have been this way if there was no v-chip, he would have been a jealous egomaniac! lol :D (hide spoiler)]

just a quick post! (view spoiler)[ The timeline is a little confusing. Something would happen, like when Zoe kissed Adrien the first time since she came back after being on the Surface. It would then say a couple of weeks went by and they were talking in that room about Juan and Zoe didn't want to look at Adrien because of what happened "last night"!! Last night? There was one other time it happened like that, but I can't remember and now Molla is preggers??? When they only just met? I don't know it's kind of confusing and I only needed to get it out of my system so now I won't let it bother me! :) (hide spoiler)]

I'm done!! I liked it, there were some things that were a little off, but I still liked it enough I want to read the 2nd one!!

The ending!! (view spoiler)[ I knew something was up with the Chancellor! I couldn't figure it out though, and Max!!! Oh why why why!! After everything he did I'm still scared for him going to back! What is she going to do to him? (hide spoiler)]

Zoe's powers! (view spoiler)[ I like how the author described how when Zoe used her ability, she was able to see the energy of everything...I'm not what to call it. Also the Chancellor should be crapping in her panties because Zoe is really powerful! I wouldn't want to be on her bad side! (hide spoiler)]

Ok so I'm having trouble rereading this book but will post about some of my favorite parts.

The Train part (view spoiler)[ I can't believe that people would just stand there, this is what made me really hate the v-chips. (hide spoiler)]

When they went to the surface the first time (view spoiler)[ I got so scared when she had the reaction and was wondering why she had it. (hide spoiler)]

Max (view spoiler)[ I really don't like him I feel like he took advantage of Zoe when they first started talking. I don't know why but he seems to confident with his power when he should be more careful. Also I think that even if he never had the v-chip he would still be like he is. He just makes me so mad not wanting to help the other kids that might glitch I just want to hit him. (hide spoiler)]

He used Molla and got her pregnant then was ready to just let her get killed to run away with Zoe. I'm not happy because he is not a person that you want as an enemy because of his power he could be anyone. (hide spoiler)]

I agree with you about Max (view spoiler)[ being an enemy you would definitely not want! I guess the reason I was sad that he didn't go with them is because I was sad for Zoe, he was her friend and she cared about him even when he didn't deserve it. (hide spoiler)]

I was wondering about (view spoiler)[ her allergic reaction too! And I totally missed it that it was her memory of her brother when he tried to take her and not a dream! (hide spoiler)]
