Vee went to the common room and asked Hunter if they can talk. As they walked into the field they sat on the steps Vee putting her head between her knees. Hunter looked at her worriedly "What happened between you and Jax? Did he do something to you?"
Vee looked up at him and shakes her head "No, he's just an arse" bitterness in her tone.
Hunter didn't like the calm Vee, cuz that means she's thinking, she may be plotting someone's death in her head. "Tell me what happened" He said even though he knew she won't tell him.
She turned in her place laid her head on his lap and extended her feet. Laying on her back with Hunter always calms her but she was still angry and hurt and felt stupid. "Nothing you need to worry about, he probably just thinks I'm banging the leader" she felt him chuckle and didn't say a thing.

Hunter then broke the silence " Vee" "hmm" she mused. "It's okay to like someone you know?" " shut up opera, I know that, I love you don't I?" Trying to not let that get into her head. "You better, with all the shit you give me" looking down on her "let's get inside, you're not hiding are you?" She got up patting the dust of her tights "I don't hide" he looked at her amused "that's my girl, oh and I'm headed to the forest in a bit"
Vee nodded and went to the study rather than the common room.

Jax entered the field with Vee beside, he really was happy that all was well and that their fight only caused them to be closer. He felt that feeling of being ecstatic and that made him even happier as he looked at Vee.

When Jax sat on the steps, Vee was going to sit next to him, buy instead she sat on his lap and took his hand into hers. If she was watching this view from far, she would've made some nasty comment, but now that it's her being sappy and stupid she didn't care. Sighing "This is definitely something new" she whispered in his ear. "I like new"

He was so surprised by what she did that he was momentarily tongue-tied. When she whispered the words that showed how new it was to him, he snapped out of his stupor. "I like it too," he whispered back as he wound his arms around her waist. This was something he saw over the years in the his traveling around the world. The love between two people that he saw was both confusing and new that he now squeezed his hand hand on her waist to know that she was real.

"I'm not gonna poof you know" she said as he held her tight, it was nice actually but she can't seem to help teasing him. Drawing circles with her finger on the back of his hand "tell me something about yourself" she murmured afraid that if she raised her voice she'll ruin the moment. "Tell me something no one knows" her eyes gleaming mischievously. She didn't care if what he says is stupid, she wants to know everything about him.

He thought for a moment on what she was asking and he smiled, "I like singing," he admitted in a whisper. He really was embarrassed about this because it was years since he sang in front of any people but she needed to know it. He looked down at her fingers and he twined his to hers. He smiled, "I sang a lot when I'm alone."

"Will you sing for me sometime?" Raising her eyebrows oh god, how did she become so sappy in a span of 2 days! "But just if you're any good! I kind of prefer having good hearing" chuckling she wondered about all the things he doesn't know about him.

He laughed and for the second time since he met Vee. He smiled down at her as he tightened his arms around her and brought her face close to his, "Alright but don't say I didn't warn you because all the time singing was me and myself and no one knows I really sing except you." He took a hand from her waist and he put it on her cheek. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me and yeah with all the fighting we done. I like us fighting," he whispered as he caressed her cheek with his thumb.

Vee didn't know how to respond, this was elevating real fast. "I like us fighting too" her hands wrapping around his neck "but I prefer this" as she leaned capturing his lips and kissing him softly and slowly with all the emotions she was feeling, with all the emotions she never knew could surface in her. Her kissed were more urgent now, teasing and sexy. The kissing ended as fast as it started or so it felt. She leaned back and looked into his eyes sparkling with passion "don't you?"

"I really do," he whispered as he kissed her on the nose. "By the way, Wow!" He exclaimed as he laughed. That was his first kiss and that was spectacular. Yeah yeah, he was old enough to drink beer but he received his kiss right now and it was great. "That was my firs kiss and I loved it how it was you who kissed me."

"How come this is your first kiss?" She asked curious, hasn't he been kissed before? How come no girl tried to jump him before? She got to the conclusion that she misunderstood what he said. It's not possible with his messy hair and attitude problem, he could get any girl he likes to kiss him without trying.

He looked down, embarrassed. "Well you see, I never found any girl to kiss. All of them are turned on by my coldness and rudeness to them that I immediately say no their friendship. Not until you," He looked up, smiling. He was glad that he had told her so that he isn't one of the guys who steal kisses from anyone they meet. "How about you? What's your secret?" He asked with a lift of his eyebrows.

"Well I don't sing that's for sure" she said teasingly "and I'm not a Virgin either" she hesitated "but umm I read, like a lot. Like a freaking reading maniac. Everything and anything, I'll probably be done with the study by the end of the year" her eyes bright with her book enthusiasm it was embarrassing. Hunter knew she's a smarty pants, but doesn't know how much she reads. She didn't tell Jax about the guitar thing though, it was too private. Even Hunter never heard her play though, he just knew of it.

"Really? What genres do you like the most?" He asked, truly curious. He did not mind for her being at his lap at all since their relationship was going to the next level but he did mind about her not being the real her around him. "Ok, I'll tell you again one of my secrets... I like Hello Kitty." He whispered the last two words because it was pretty humiliating because he is a grown man that likes something girly.

"Usually, science fiction, but not the vampire crap. I read those too but they're not my favorite." She blushed a little "I love the whole mystery package. You know detective stuff?" She fidgeted on his lap "but I read everything anyway" She said shrugging innocently.

"And I honestly can't believe you like Hello Kitty!" Getting of his lap and standing in front of him "I mean Eww, not because it's ridiculous that's fine. But it's an ugly cat! With horrible taste in accessories!" Actually she was scared of cats, that's why she hates it so much.

"Hey! Hello Kitty is cute to touch. If you could see how much I collected through the years. You'd be surprised," He told her as he let his hands hang on his knees. He didn't want to tell this to her but inside he felt so empty now that she stood up. "Do you like Erotica?" he asked with a waggle of his brows, he changed the subject.

"Oh fine change the subject. But Hello Kitty ain't cute." She said crossing her hands. "And yeah, I've read Erotica before" raising one eyebrow seductively. "But I'd prefer the real thing" Pulling the band out of her hair she saw the look on his face and couldn't help laughing.

Jax was never this surprised in his whole life until now. What he said about her reading Erotica was only for changing the subject but he never knew that Vee would be seducing him. "U-Um can we try that later?" He asked as he stuttered and he immediately felt so embarrassed by what he said. "What I meant was if you want to do the real thing, how about now?" He asked her as he pulled her close with his hands dangerously close to her breasts. It was all bravado for him but he wanted to see what Vee will do.

Vee noticed him stutter a little which she found incredibly hot, that he was nervous about being with her, she didn't intend on actually seducing him though , and couldn't help but blush like hell. "We don't have to do it now" she smiled "It is still our first day together" she didn't want to rush things with him, even if the tension was killing her. She was for the first time nervous around a guy

Jax smiled a little, "Me too," he whispered as he held closer until his head was against her front. "I want to take things slow and easy with you so that I can store the memories." He was really relieved that she said that because he has one more secret that would probably shock all of the them. He looked up at her, "Our first day together, I like the sound of that," he said to her with affection in his eyes.

"I like it too" She smiled idiotically, electricity going up and down her spine like crazy. "Shale wouldn't believe I'm dating someone" She shook her head amused by the thought. She was actually eager to tell her which wasn't her at all. A couple of hours ago she wanted to keep it a secret. So much has changed in so little time.

He laughed, "My only male friend here is Hunter and I kinda told him before I returned to the study." Remembering their talk at the forest earlier, he knew that he shouldn't have warned Hunter off like Vee getting hurt again but it seems like they were still hurting a year later, from what he got from both of them. He shook his head to clear it.

"Well, take it from me, Hunter is not the best person to take relationship advice from" She said lightly not wanting to get into details. She loved Hunter with all her heart but he acted like such a jackass sometimes. "Do you remember where you came from? Before Daggers Hill I mean? Anything about your family?" She decided to change the subject and leave the past in the past.

"I was an orphan and I travel around the world so I from everywhere I suppose," he whispered as he looked down. Jax was not really proud of his past because all he ever did was jump from one place to another. He went to 20 states before he ever saw Dagger Hills but he didn't want her pity all he wants from her is understanding.

"Well here's a thing in common" She smiled as she sat next to him. "I was an orphan too, but I got adopted" she pulled her legs close to her chest. "I don't remember a thing about my parents, and i know nothing about my currents ones" it didn't bother her but sometimes she wonders how different her life would've been.

He looked up and he smiled at her, "Don't worry about them, Vee. You're happy here in Dagger Hills with Hunter right?" He asked and he silently added, with me? But he knew that she wasn't ready for that step yet so he took her hand and entwined his fingers through hers. "No one adopted me but I'm happy now." He whispered as he tightened his hold on her hand.

"I'm not sad, I'm just curious that's all. My adopted parents are rich, i was allowed to do anything. I have Hunter for a brother, I knew him ever since I was three" she smiled to herself. Remembering how she first met Hunter, "I fell of my tricycle, and he helped me up and invited me in. He's been there ever since" she chuckled. She realized she talks a lot about Hunter, but he's a huge chunk of who she is. "And now I have you" she said squeezing his hand.

Jax smiled as he now knew that he was part of her life. It's the same for him, being alone for all these years he was exhilarated that he was not alone now. "I'm glad that Hunter was there for you and don't you forget about me," he whispered as he thought of Hunter who was always there for her, he wasn't jealous at all because he knew that their relationship was not gf-bf at all, if it was he wouldn't be seeing Vee right now like this.

[Moshira]

"We had our fair share of drama, but it never affected our friendship" she smiled to herself about all the times she swore to never talk to him again. "Just like us fighting" she winked at him "keeps things interesting"

Jax laughed, "I like us fighting because in the end we got the chance to make up and if you'd like kiss." He winked back. He sighed as he got up, "I go to go, Vee. I think Hunter's finding us or something and don't ask how I knew that." He offered his hand to her, "Or do you want to come with me?"

[Moshira]

"What? I don't get it. Hunter's looking for you? Us? Huh?" She replied confused. Why would Hunter be looking for them? He must need Jax for something about the initiation. She wanted to call Shale anyway, she decided she's gonna tell her about her and Jax. Oh she's never gonna get used to 'her and jax'. She stood up anyway "I'm ready to go"

Vee was surprised shale was walking towards them, but couldn't help but grin "Honey, I'm not deaf" laughing now "what brings you here" she shouted imitating Shale. "Was just gonna call you" still making fun of her

[Moshira]

"Oh" well too much for secrecy! She didn't mind Shale knowing she just wanted to be the one to break the news. "Surprise?" She asked smiling idiotically. "You totally ruined our gossip session" walking towards Shale now, she knew her privacy with Jax was coming to an end, they can't stay in the Field forever.

[Moshira]

"Umm sure, wait The boys? It's a full house tonight then" she shook her head. She looked back at Jax apologetically. "I'll go with Shale, you see what Hunter wants?"

[Moshira]

"Is this and intervention?" She asked jokingly "Because if it is, I'll pass" she didn't want to leave Jax, but he was going anyway. "Let's go" she walks over to Jax and kissed his cheek lingering a little.

[Moshira]

"Okay okay, fine let's go. Don't tense up" she said following Shale into the study. What the hell was up with her

Vee grabbed a couple of whisky bottles and no glasses and walked into the field "Hello my friend" she said loudly. "I brought refreshments" raising the bottles in each hand.

"I ran into shale while trying to get drunk and asked for you. What happened?" She asked handing him a bottle an sitting next to him

[Moshira]

"Yeah yeah. Shut up and drink because you're giving me crap" she took a sip of her drink "you never wanted to date her in the first place" she sated crossing her legs.

Jax found Vee with what's supposed to be Brayden as he went nearer he felt his envy at why Brayden was so close to her. He didn't say anything but he continued to watch them when he was a just a few feet away from where they are sitting like they had no care in the world.

"I'm not playing anything Brayden. If he wants to come talk to me he can come." She took a long gulp from the bottle. She was a bit nervous to his presence, she really wanted to get drunk and black out! "Did you break up with her?"

Jax watched as they continued on talking and he knew that Brayden saw him because he had heard him announing his presence to Vee. He tightened his fists as he watch them converse like they were the best of friends. You could have that, some part of his mind said.

"Let him. Are you scared?" She didn't turn around because she have nothing more to say to him. She said everything upstairs and now she'll just wait as he asked her. It's all she can do. Her bottle was half empty and she was getting drunk and dizzy. Her voice is getting louder now she started to sing ruining the lyrics if each song.
