R.M. Gilmore (rmgilmore) | 16 comments The Scene Endless Night Becomingare currently Amazon exclusives.

I tried Libboo also (not for sale only promotion and free books) but I didn't see much more exposure.

Robert Bacal (rbacal) | 3 comments I've decided that there's no downside to increasing the number of distribution channels. So, amazon for print, and kindle, Smashwords for ebook distro to sites like itunes, etc. Scribd for PDF's (Yes it's one of the few places where you can actually sell them.
Haven't tried to sell via goodreads yet. Not sure if that program still is available.
And, if you are looking to sell pdf's in docstoc, my advice is not to bother.
Oh, and I also sell PDF version via several of my own storefronts (http://bacalassociates.com if you want to take a look. I have others.

Robert Bacal (rbacal) | 3 comments Justin wrote: "I haven't considered a third party host for my book other than my current two of Createspace and Amazon. Although Barnes&Noble would be my first choice to attempt."

If it's a printed book, have you signed up for the extended distribution? That would also get you into Barnes/Noble, and a few others.

Sara Branmore (sarabranmore) | 9 comments @ Justin: Just my two cents: (pardon me for barging in!) I signed up for extended distribution at a cost of $25 but my royalty for one particular book is only 60 cents - so it's gonna take a loooooong time to recoup the $25! It's my problem - I should've written a better book! LOL. I think we have a winning combo of Amazon, CreateSpace, and Goodreads. Good luck though Justin with whatever path you choose!
Sara

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 792 comments Thank you for your two cents Sara! Yeah Those seem to be the three best places. I have considered the distribution extra but I've already spent 40bucks on promotion and it did not fair well so unless it's a sure thing I probably wont do it.

message 62: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Hamill (patricia_hamill) Shadows of Valor is available on Smashwords, so it's pretty much on all the major ebook outlets. I put it on Kindle myself since Smashwords only distributes to them if your book sells exceptionally well.

My other book, The Golden Ship, is only on Amazon right now. Both are available as a paperback from Amazon via Createspace.

I haven't tried any of the other sites.

Stacey Hunt (staceytianna) | 3 comments The Prophecy has recieved mostly positive reviews, and is currently my most popular novel. Reviewers are saying:

"The author wasted no time and through me right into the action from the first sentence."

"The characters were so interesting and easy to relate to, what happened to them in the end tugged at my heartstrings."

"This is more like blood-pumping, heart-racing, grab hold of your hat enjoy the ride stuff that you would be nuts not to buy. Do yourself a favor and buy it now."

Slavyan Yorgakiev | 2 comments BILLIONS OF LONERS
There are billions of loners who cry solitude,
Go to desolate grim sleep every night.
Then they soar dreaming splendid bright sun,
And their happiness is dreams come true, bright.
They are grieving that partings a tragic loss bring,
All too often, too cruelly often.
They fold their souls’ hope close, like frail wings,
Waiting meekly to see them crushed, broken.
Year in and year out, the chain adds new links,
Toiling solitude, hopelessness, pain.
In the mind, tangled thoughts reach the brink,
And the question of life’s point remains.
