LOL! Part of a master plan, huh? Now she'd double cheating for the sake of her next book! But I know how that is, I do things like that all the time, it's hard to let characters slip away, even if it's their time.

I agree with all of what was said above. David, I was wondering how you'd feel about the "tied up a bit too neatly" ending. Personally, I LOVED it. Yes, (view spoiler)[Jem should have probably a)died when it was his time or b)stayed a Silent Brother for all time. But I think it was an ulterior motive on her part for future books, and I DO want to see Jem and Tessa again! So I was very happy about the ending. I have a hard time of letting go of beloved characters and if there's ANY chance of seeing them show up in a future book, I'm there (David... Like my favorite character ever - Siena!!)

And yup, the love triangle was beautiful in this series because they were truly happy no matter who got the girl. The love between the guys was heartbreaking and pure. No jealousy or selfishness whatsoever. (hide spoiler)]

I'm slowly rereading Fire Country. I'm stretching it out and reading my print copy, just a little every night. Can't get enough of Siena!! (And Perry's words of wisdom, actually.) ;-D

I still haven't finished it, so I'm waiting on my thoughts until then :) I am loving it so far, but my problem is I just love these characters SO MUCH, and I'm scared to death at this point! I will probably finish it tonight!

I never had any issues with the pacing of this one oddly enough. I did in the first two but never in this one. I guess I loved the romance so I got more annoyed when the Clockwork creatures got in the way of that! lol!

Lol I loved the Clockwork bits too although the worm was my favorite haha! I actually liked the humor of the first two a little more than this one, but it still had a few funny lines. Clare is really amazingly witty when she wants to be :)

I second what David said. Don't be afraid. The ending is really really good and so worth it, but do have some kleenex nearby. ;-)

Between the dog and the books, there is not much room left for me... I sleep way on the edge of my queen bed. The books get an entire side to themselves. And my big 55 lb. dog tries to squish me out of bed by sleeping on my legs. Hahah...

I finally finished it! I have never cried so much over a book that I can remember! It was just beautiful! I agree with everything said here, espcially all those beautiful quotes. I loved the one on the miracles!(view spoiler)[ I had a feeling Jem was going to be a Silent Brother, but I was shocked when he was reverted back at the end. I guess it was cheating a little bit, but no one deserved it more than Jem! I loved all the characters, and love all the bits of humor that are thrown in. "Murdering the cook" LOL! Just like TMI, Clare writes some of the best characters EVER! (hide spoiler)]

I knew I was going to love it, I love all Cassandra Clare's books, even when things take a turn I don't agree with! I love her style of writing, especially her sharp-witted humor moments, and the characters are just so ALIVE for me! (view spoiler)[I forgot to mention the part where Tessa changes into the Angel...that was just amazing! And it was amazing she survived! (hide spoiler)]

I was trying to write my review for Clockwork Prince last night, trying to find a favourite quote - and I found that they're ALL my favourites! Same for this book!
