Check out this series. Loved it. Love her style of writing. I just can't stomach much of the YA Paranormal because they all seem too generic for me. It's almost nauseating with the YA books I've come across. Seems they typically want to mimic Twilight.

Try Shelly laurenston, Laurann Dohner, sherrilyn kenyon, karen chance, eve langlais and katie macalister. They all have some series that I'm hooked on, especially katie macalister's "You slay me".

..."Just finished the latest and loved it!!!!!
I recommend:Bitten
Stolen
Dime Store Magic
Industrial Magic
and the rest of her 'Women of the otherworld' series
Also it's a very short read and as it's a 90's book, quite mild but I love it:
The Silver Kiss
Can I suggest the Alex veris (correct spelling?) novels by Benedict jacka. Also, Nightside by Simon R Green. Loved that series.
I just finished reading Blood Magic If your looking for a great Paranormal, UF. Not romance though there is an attraction. I would also suggest the Blood Songand others in the Blood Singer series. All great reads
If you love Patricia Briggs I think you will love the Kate Daniels series too. It's urban fantasy not PNR. For PNR I have to second the Nalini Signh Psy Changling series recommendation. Even though Psy is true PNR with a new couple speech book she built a fantastic world very unlike other I have read.
Kresley Cole's Immortals after dark is a brilliant series.. Elemental assassins by Jennifer Estep is also really good.. Shifter series by Rachel Vincent is def one of my favs.. You could check out my book if you think it sounds good..

I would highly recommend the Chosen series by Heather Fleener :) I just started re-reading the series (there are three out so far) with the next one coming out June 20th! Hope this helps!

Kelley Armstrong
Try looking up Kelley Armstrong - she writes about vampires and werewolves (mainly werewolves). If you like Anita Blake, this series is a natural. You can also look up the book that I've written if you want vampires :)

Sorry about that guys.. If you are having a problem I would be happy to send you a copy for free in exchange for an honest review. If you are interested.
Hi, I've written a YA fantasy that I'd love some feedback on. Its on kindle for free tomorrow. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
All my favs have been mentioned here, the Kate Daniels series (love! love!), the Alex Craft Series, the Fever series, and all of fellow Canadian, Kelley Armstrong's, books. Would you be interested in a male lead? How about the Dresden files starting with Storm Front? I've read up to book seven and quite enjoyed them, though I prefer female POV. I'll go back and finish the rest for sure. Also, if I may be so bold, I'm about to bring out the third book in my Dowser Series in the next week or so. The series starts with Cupcakes, Trinkets, and Other Deadly Magic. There is a giveaway running in my blog, if you want to try your luck and test the series inexpensively.
Now I need to go through this thread a second time and find all the series I haven't cracked yet!
If you are looking for something new, try my trilogy:http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
It's Romance Fantasy/chick lit
second book,Eventide Crimson Darkness (Book #2 of the Eventide Vampire Series)
