Morrigan I believe the first chapter book I ever read by myself (as in, not read aloud to me, although this one had been read to me previously) is "The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe"by C.S. Lewis.

But the books that got me interested in mg/ya were probably Percy Jackson and the Olympians. :)

Sahdyah (misssdmhere) Willow by Julia Bonanza was the first book I've read. It was such a good one. But the first ebook was The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg. Got me hooked to iBooks forever after this lol

Mzzie (mezle) First book in general that I've read, I can't remember, but the first book I've ever read that I actually wanted to read was Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling. That was the book that got me into reading!! And it stands still as one of my favorite books!!

I always thought Goblet of Fire was her best most evenly paced book, but I liked Order too :)

OMG I lied above, the very first book that I read that GOT ME into reading wasn't Order of The Phoenix, it was The Goblet of Fire haha. BUT my favorite book still stands as Order of The Phoenix.

I think I can agree on the Goblet of Fire, I did like that movie the best tho.

Sarah I learned to read with a book called Trip Trap by Pam Holden. The first books I remember after that were the Little House books. I've been an avid reader since I was 4 though, so there are a lot I don't remember.
