I believe the first chapter book I ever read by myself (as in, not read aloud to me, although this one had been read to me previously) is "The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe"by C.S. Lewis.
I'm not sure about my Firs book read, I think was one of my mom's but I'm sure than in junior School I read this one by assignmentSopaboba
I have no idea but I do remember reading a lot of Dr. Seuss when learning to read so it was probably one of those.
The first books I read, like ever, were probably the Huggly books. Yeah. But the books that got me interested in mg/ya were probably Percy Jackson and the Olympians. :)
Willow by Julia Bonanza was the first book I've read. It was such a good one. But the first ebook was The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg. Got me hooked to iBooks forever after this lol
First book in general that I've read, I can't remember, but the first book I've ever read that I actually wanted to read was Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling. That was the book that got me into reading!! And it stands still as one of my favorite books!!
The first book I have ever read was.......A child's book. Of course. I definitely can not remember which.
But the first YA book?

BUT my favorite book still stands as Order of The Phoenix.
I think I can agree on the Goblet of Fire, I did like that movie the best tho.
I learned to read with a book called Trip Trap by Pam Holden. The first books I remember after that were the Little House books. I've been an avid reader since I was 4 though, so there are a lot I don't remember.
Baby sitter club books (First book I read out of pleasure instead of a teacher or mom telling me I had to)
