Goodreads does not use honorifics or suffixes (except Jr, Sr, and Roman Numerals), but I did merge the two profiles together so the books are in the same place.
I found an author who seems to have more than one name... There's a Dutch book by an author called Pak Wansö http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16... As there were only three titles mentioned when I looked at this author's profile, I had a look at Wikipedia to see if maybe the spelling of the author's name was not American but Dutch. To my surprise I found several names for this author, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_Wan...
Could one of the superlibrarians please have a look and check how the name should be spelled in American English? And then possibly create one name (and thus one author profile) for this author?

Actually, we don't do that. We create one profile per language (as needed). The primary one is the English/Roman Alphabet one, if the author has ever published in English. For this author, that is this profile: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/..., and that version of the name should be the primary author for all books written by her, in all languages. I should have been clearer when I said 'one profile', as I meant one with the name in English/Roman alphabet. Your link to the primary profile has been of help and is just what I needed, so thanks :-)
I have the same problem, sort of. I used my real name for two of my books but decided on an alternative name (Dawn Maze) for my other book because of privacy reasons. Now I've reconsidered my decision and would like to use my name for that book too but now I can't change that to Twyla Meeus anymore. Also, if I can change that author's name then the picture would have to be changed too.Can anyone help with that?

What we can do is add your name as the secondary author on that book, so it will show up on your author profile. I have done so.
Rivka, I'd be happy with that too. How would that happen though?Could I make a new book with the new cover that now has my real name on it?

That's better than nothing. How does that happen then?

There is an author named Gurlu Necipoglu, but someone also added Gurlu Necipogulu. Since it's the same author you should combine the two profiles and put the correct name.

There are two author instances for J.M. Dillard - one with the dots in the name (J.M. Dillard) and one without (J M Dillard). Can a superlibrarian please help to combine both these instances into one?Many of her books are present against both instances, and need to be combined too, but we can't do so because the author name has been spelled differently (e.g. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16... and http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/76... are actually the same book). Please advice.
15 Profiles are emrged, every librarian can do that.

Hi,I have the suggestion you merge the profiles of the author Bernlef with that of the auther J. Bernlef. They are the same person. Here are the pages:

Now that it is correctly linked to your profile, you should be able to add a cover and other book data (publisher, pub date, etc.)
Leaving the author merge for Rivka, but do you know which titles the quotes are from?

Hi L.E., That's because you are L.E.^^Fitzpatrick, where ^ is a space. Goodreads uses extra spaces to differentiate authors with otherwise identical names. There must have been another L.E. Fitzpatrick at some point, and that's why you got the profile with two spaces. I have fixed that book. If you add any more books in the future, remember to add the extra space, too. Or post to the librarian group, of course. :)

I need mine fixed on Crazy Maybe, please. I put a space in A.D. Justice when I shouldn't have so it's not on my dashboard....thx & sorry! :)

There were two books listed under the second profile. The first I verified was Not After Midnight. So I combined it with it's English edition.
But I cannot verify that the second book Vi giver aldrig op was written by the same author. Please help.
