The Lying Game by Sara Shepard
So...I've been cheating. I looked ahead at some of the other books in this series...(view spoiler) I can tell someone else who is going to die, though...And I know about Thayer :) I wouldn't read this if you plan on reading on into the series (I'm not). (view spoiler)
I looked up Pretty Little Liars, too, and it is pretty much the same thing with different people - right down to one twin taking over the other's life.

Sutton is a terrible person but didn't deserve to die. I can't stand pranks! Lying Game is a way to torture people under the guise of being a "prank". Laurel has to have something to do with Sutton's death. Sutton might have started the prank but who took it too far?
Garret is way too nice for Sutton.

Sorry Leigh :(
Sorry Leigh :(
Thank you both. My husband's cousin died suddenly. It was so sad! Things are getting better. My baby girl received three awards and my son will be on the Dean's list again this semester.
Was Charlotte pregnant during the summer? Garret the father. Sutton steals her friends and sister's boyfriends. I so don't like Sutton!

That's awesome Leigh! Which awards>?

I wasn't loving the story before, but ... yeah.
Hannah received a medal for highest SRI points in Reading, a 4-H award for taking on the roles of President and Vice President, and perfect attendance. She should have received a award for honor roll but they don't give one for 5th graders.
I finished up the book today. I would like to find out what is going on but not enough to read the rest of the books in the series.

I feel similarly. It was worth a try, but I don't think I like how she draws the story out. It's not suspense so much as ... laziness, I think.

Congrats!"
Thanks! I am very proud of both of them.

He's one of the suspects in the later books...but...I don't think they will ever find out who the killer really is. It's probably going to be one of those things where everyone was involved somehow - each played a little part. In one of the books it looked like Becky (Emma's mom) is even a suspect.

I'm going to read all of The Goddess Test series because I have them all already.
I need to go pick up the other one from the library tomorrow then :)

Make sure you try to get a copy that shows the GORGEOUS illustrations.
Also:
266 pages, 3 stories. The pacing will be interesting, I am sure.
I've read the first story before. I can't wait to read it again though. :)

Explains a lot about the attention art is given in Karou's world. :)
I'm on chapter 24 right now. It sounds like everyone had a reason to kill Sutton.
One thing I do like is that Sutton (or her ghost) doesn't know what happened to herself, either, so she can't give anything away.
