"she would have felt like an aristocrat, on his way to the guillotine in a tumbrel"
Makes me think of my favourite poem by Edna St. Vincent Millay - "kings in a tumbrel rarely went as proudly as this one went." It is a wonderful memory. I love the writing in this book!
I like that this book wasn't as focused on the "clockwork" as much. Can't wait for us to start on Clockwork Princess!! :)
I know, right? David and I have been waiting a year to find out how the heck is she going to resolve this love triangle???

Well thank GOD I don't have to wait. I'd never make it. All I can think is that (view spoiler) . Karen what's your prediction?

I like yours better. I vote for that.
I have a hunch what will happen to Jem, but I am pretty sure I am right based off of some things I've heard from Cassandra Clare, so I'm not going to tell you cuz I don't want to spoil it ;)
LOL welcome back Karen!! It was so hard waiting for this third book eek!! But it's almost time for it! I'm so glad everyone enjoyed this series as much as me :)
I found out at midnight that we hit 3 digit temps here, Meaghan! Yowza! My body and brain was so confused. 85 and humid to freezing and seeing snow on the ramps to and from the planes (I was in a little sundress and flippity flops!) to 87 degrees when I landed late last night!
