I'm actually hoping that Harris will focus more on her Sookie Stackhouse series. I have followed it from the beginning, but it is seeming to lose focus. There are so many main characters, it can get difficult to follow. I don't like to have to make notes as I read...
The next on my list is Gail Carriger's Soulless.

No witches, weres, vamps or other beasties, but it is very good!
Next up, I'm finally getting around to The Hunger Games [image error]

I haven't read the Harper series yet. I hope to get the first book on audiobook. It's a bit expensive on Amazon, but maybe my library has it. Otherwise I'll buy the paperback. The zapped by lightning premise sounds interesting.
I've been keeping my eye on Red but no one I know has read it. Be sure to let us know what you think of it Valorie!

No problem, I let you know as soon as I'm finished!

I am hoping to start

Dark Lover is a great start to an awesome series. I hope you both like it Heather & Amanda! It's almost as if it's a classic in the genre.

I'm not very far into it but I'm really liking it so far, are all the books in the series as good as this one?

Also read Midnight Kiss which was really good. About a producer who is producing a vampire movie and all kinds of vampire-like things keep happening to sabotage the movie.
Read Edge of Desire - book 3 which is terrible. The hero is a whiny pain in the ass who can't make up his mind about the heroine. His waffeling is very annoying. The ending is great but the book itself is awful which is surprising because the first two books were rather good.
Currently reading Sex & Sensibility which sounds interesting and sexy.

Getting ready to start

I tried to start Must Love Hellhounds and couldn't get into the short stories. Let me know if there's one you liked particularly.

I also finished Man of My Dreams. I liked this anthology. I also read Dream Warrior. I liked this book a lot.
Starting A Hunger Like No Other today. First Kresley Cole I've read, I think.

Anyone has any suggestion as to which one I should read first?
Shiver!! I just finished it and thought it was awesome.
The only one I've read from your list Heather is The Host. It was good but I have no idea how good compared to the others. You have some very interesting books to choose from though.
I just picked Shiver up from the library this morning so I'll be starting it soon.

I think I might start

I did, however, start reading Red. It's different, but I haven't read enough to know if I like it or not.

I just finished Dark Lover too, it was so good, and I'm also going to read the others. I already went out and got the next 5 books.

Ok, so not only did I finish [image error] today, I also read book 2, [image error] and have begun reading the third,

I haven't read that much Nora Roberts except for her trilogies that have paranormal elements:
This would include Sign of the Seven, Circle (my favorite), In the Garden, and Three ..."
The Donovan Series (4 book) and The Key Trilogy
also have paranormal elements. The Donanvan books have a witch theme, they all have a different power. Both series/trilogies are really good, as are all the one Yz the Whyz mentioned. Midnight Bayou is good too, but is a novel.

WOW! That's impressive - I'm going to have to move that series up on my To Read list!

Harris' Lily Bard series is the only one of hers I haven't started yet. The Harper series has been really good, the last book of the series was published this year. I wonder if Harris is going to start a new series or put more focus into her current ones.
