So, we moved a lot and, for a time, were what people nowadays call “unhoused.” We lived in Virginia (Norfolk, Virginia Beach), Colorado (Breckenridge, Empire, Georgetown, Denver, Boulder), Billings (Montana), and Santa Fe (New Mexico), where I came of age attending St. John’s College.

Tell us about yourself and how many books you've written.
I am P.I. Barrington and I used to be an entertainment industry "maven." I like to use that word though mainly I worked at Capitol Records (and met Paul McCartney!) which both were a lifelong dream of mine! Eventually, I got tired of the commute and went back into local radio. And then I got signed to a 3-book deal for Future Imperfect, a near-future crime trilogy! I also expanded into serious sci-fi with The Brede Chronicles. Interspersed between those two series, I wrote several short stories, same genre. For me, short stories are faster but less satisfying than creating a novel or novels (all that worldbuilding-YES!). I used to write a lot with my sister, but she passed away a few years ago, so I'm finally getting back into major writing. Plus, I moved across the country (California to Tennessee!?!) so, I'm re-adjusting everything from the time change to the town layout! But I'm also more of a homebody now, so I can focus on writing. (When I'm not wrestling with that SOB, Procrastination!)
