It is pushing $30. Yikes! It has a small clear disc that provides the capacitive touch to the screen. But the tip looks more like a pen. So you can be precise with the pen tip while giving enough capacitance to the screen to make it work.
When I get my tablet this summer I am going to see about saving my lunch money to buy one of these.

I like those with a plastic circle with a dot (the Dagi for example), so you can see just where you're touching.
The Gold Goal is pressure sensitivity. There are a couple now for iPad, but they don't work very well yet. I have a Jot Touch, which is way more than $30.

I just keep a bottle of spray cleaner and cloth readily available for both my iPads and use them liberally, especially after one of my daughters has used one of my devices.
